Sarandë District
The District of Sarandë (Albanian: Rrethi i Sarandës) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, found in southern Albania, in the County of Vlorë. The area of the district is 749 square kilometers. The population of the district was 48,474 (2010 estimate). According to the census of January 1993, it was 53,700. The centre of the district is the city of Sarandë. Other places include Konispol (at the border with Greece), Ksamil (a resort), Çukë, Vrinë and Butrint (an archeological site).

The District of Delvinë or District of Delvina is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Vlorë County. Its population of 11,985 includes a substantial Greek community. The Blue Eye is a water spring, natural phenomenon occurring in Saranda, Albania. A popular tourist attraction, the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-metre-deep pool. Divers have descended to fifty metres, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is.
Mourgana
Mourgana (Greek: Μουργκάνα or Όρη Τσαμαντά - Ori Tsamanta, Albanian: Maja e Murganës) is a mountain range in northwestern Greece and southern Albania. Its highest elevation is 1,806 m. It is drained by tributaries of the river Thyamis towards the south, by tributaries of the river Drinos towards the north and by the small river Pavllë to the west. There are forests in the lower areas of the mountain, and grasslands in the higher elevations.

Tsamantas
Tsamantas is a village located in Epirus. Tsamantas lies near to the border with Albania in northern Greece, in the regional unit of Thesprotia. Indeed, the Albanian border is very clearly visible from the high lofts that are Tsamantas, the highest mountain in the region. You can also see Kerkyra/ Corfu on a clear day in the distance to your left, as you stand facing the Albanian border.

Kakavia (border crossing)
The Kakavia or Kakavijë border crossing is a major road border crossing between southern Albania and northwestern Greece. On the Albanian side lies the village of Kakavijë, located in the District of Gjirokastër, Dropull region. On the Greek side lies the village of Ktismata, in the Delvinaki municipality, Ioannina regional unit. The main road from Sarandë and Gjirokastër to Ioannina passes through this border crossing. The Greek National Road 22 connects Kakavia with the GR-20 at Kalpaki.
