Korçë District
The District of Korçë (Albanian: Rrethi i Korçës), is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania. According estimates, as of January 1, 2010, 138,898 people lived in the Korce District. Korce district is considered one of two main minority regions of the country's south. During World War I the French created the Republic of Korça in the area.
Devoll District
The District of Devoll (Albanian: Rrethi i Devollit) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Korçë County and derives its name from the Devoll river flowing through the valley. It has a population of 33,785, and an area of 429 km². It is in the southeastern corner of the country, and its capital is Bilisht. Its busy border point Kapshticë/Krystallopigi connects the district with the Greek regional units of Florina and Kastoria to the east and southeast.
Korçë County
The County of Korçë (Albanian: Qarku i Korçës) is one of the 12 counties of Albania, located in the eastern part of the country. It is the largest county of Albania and consists of the districts Devoll, Kolonjë, Korçë and Pogradec and its capital is Korçë. Korçë's eastern border is also Albania's eastern border, as the county borders the Republic of Macedonia to the northeast and Greece to the southeast. Domestically, it borders on Gjirokastër County (southwest).
Mali i Thatë
Mali i Thatë is a mountain in southeast Albania and a part of it being in southwest of Macedonia (known with the name Galičica and declared a National Park) with the highest altitude of 2287 meters. It borders Lake Prespa in the east, Lake Ohrid in northwest and overlooks the city of Pogradec to the west. It stretches 25 km from north to south and is 8 km wide in its central part.
Plasë
Plasë or Plasa is one of the biggest and most important villages in Korçë District, Albania. It is part of the municipality Pojan. It is located in the centre of the county, slightly to the east. Plasa is about 8 kilometers northeast from the city of Korçë. It has a population of about 1000, and about 300 houses; however new houses are being built, especially two floor houses, which are rarely seen in villages. It has beautiful mountains and an Orthodox church on top of the mountains.

Maligrad - The small town,is an island situated deep within the Albanian part of Lake Prespa, with many caves suitable for wildlife and a circular cliff. Shaped like a tadpole, it contains some trees and an area of sand. The island contains a famous Saint Mary Church, built by Kesar Novak (Qesar Novaku), a local noble, in 1369. It has an area of almost 5 hectares.
Devol (Albania)
Devol also Deabolis or Diabolis, was a medieval fortress and bishopric in western Macedonia, located south of Lake Ohrid in what is today the south-eastern corner of Albania. Its precise location is unknown today, but it is thought to have been located by the river of the same name, and on the Roman Via Egnatia road.
Pllaja e Pusit
Pllaja e Pusit is a mountain peak located in south-eastern Albania. Pllaja e Pusit is 2,288 m high being the highest peak of Mali i Thatë. Pllaja e Pusit is not only the highest peak of Mali i Thatë but also the highest peak of the mountains separating Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa. To the north - west of Pllaja e Pusit is Lake Ohrid and to the east of this peak is Lake Prespa. One of the largest settlements found near the peak is Liqenas.

Fan Noli University
The Fan Noli University is a university based in Korçë, Albania. It is composed of the following schools: Agricultural school (started in 1971) Teaching school (1992) Business school (1992) Nursing school (1994) Tourism school (based in Pogradec and started in 2009) The university was created as the Higher Institute of Agriculture of Korçë which had started in 1971. On January 7, 1992 two other schools were opened: the Teaching School and the Business School.
