Battle of Atlanta
The Battle of Atlanta was a battle of the Atlanta Campaign fought during the American Civil War on July 22, 1864, just southeast of Atlanta, Georgia. {{#invoke:Footnotes|sfn}} Continuing their summer campaign to seize the important rail and supply center of Atlanta, Union forces commanded by William T. Sherman overwhelmed and defeated Confederate forces defending the city under John B. Hood. Union Maj. Gen. James B. McPherson was killed during the battle.

WPBA (TV)
WPBA (or simply PBA; channel 30.1, DTV 21) is one of two PBS-member TV stations in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The callsign stands for Public Broadcasting Atlanta and it is counterpart to WABE FM 90.1, the Atlanta area's local National Public Radio station. Both are licensed to and operated by the Atlanta Public Schools. The two stations share a studio on Bismark Road in the Morningside-Lenox Park neighborhood of Atlanta.
WIRE-CD
WIRE-CD is a low-power digital television station in metro Atlanta. Broadcasting on TV channel 40, its analog broadcast range reached into the inner suburbs. Previously MTV2, programming since digital conversion now consists entirely of infomercials. As WIRE-LP, like most over-the-air MTV2 network affiliates, it was an affiliate of The Box until that network's acquisition by Viacom in 2001. Kirkwood is a national historic designated neighborhood on the east side of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is a historic streetcar suburb, and was designed by architect Will Saunders. Kirkwood is situated entirely in DeKalb County, bordered by the neighborhoods of Lake Claire, East Lake, Edgewood, and Oakhurst. Kirkwood is bound on the north by DeKalb Avenue, on the south by Memorial Drive and Interstate 20, on the west by Montgomery Street, and on the east by 1st Ave.
WABE
WABE FM 90.1 is a radio station in Atlanta, Georgia, that is affiliated with National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Radio International (PRI). WABE's format features mostly classical music, although the station will occasionally play a Beatles tune, a Broadway show tune, a film suite, or a selection from a film such as Star Wars, as long as the piece is in a classical-sounding arrangement.

Maynard H. Jackson High School
Maynard H. Jackson High School (MJHS, or Jackson High) is a high school of approximately 1,000 students with capacity room 1,500. Jackson High is located in southeast Atlanta, Georgia, United States along the BeltLine in Grant Park, just south of I-20. The school is a part of Atlanta Public Schools. In October 2012, Dr. Stephanie Johnson was appointed as principal. Faculty and students at Jackson High operate in three Small Learning Communities, also known as SLCs.

WWWE is classified as a Class-D AM broadcast station according to the FCC. W275BK FM 102.9 is a broadcast translator, that has Decatur, Georgia, as its city of license. Recently off-air, it is licensed to cover the central part of metro Atlanta. It currently airs "Praise 102-5" (WPZE FM 102.95, but is legally assigned instead to WAMJ FM 107.5. In 2009, the station was assigned to WWVA-FM 105.7, allowing it to circumvent the prohibition on airing original programming by having it simulcast on an HD Radio channel on WWVA.

W233BF FM 94.5, known as Streetz 94-5, is a radio station in metro Atlanta, now licensed to serve Atlanta. After a series of moves, the station now transmits from the tall TV tower east of downtown, just north of Interstate 20. The station broadcasts a hip hop music format, with a heavy emphasis on local artists, and is less mainstream than other similar stations in the format such as WHTA, WVEE, and WWVA/WWLG.
