Bibb County, Georgia
Bibb County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. On July 31, 2012, by a margin of 57% to 43%, voters in the county approved a measure to consolidate Bibb County with the county seat, Macon and dissolve the government of the only other incorporated municipality in the county, Payne. As of the 2010 census, the population was 155,547. Bibb County is part of the Macon Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Payne, Georgia
Payne, more commonly known as Payne City, is a small city in Bibb County, Georgia, United States. It is an enclave completely surrounded by the city of Macon, and is the only other incorporated area in the county. The population was 178 at the 2000 census. Payne was originally a company town for a Bibb Manufacturing textile mill, founded in 1899. Though the mill is closed today, its former site houses several small businesses.

Mount de Sales Academy (Georgia)
Mount de Sales Academy is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school in Macon, Georgia. It was founded in 1876 by five Sisters of Mercy as a boarding school for girls across the South, it became coeducational in 1959 and closed boarding school operations in 1963. Alexander II Magnet School
Alexander II Magnet Elementary School is a public magnet elementary school located in Macon, Georgia, USA, that is part of the Bibb County Public Schools system. It opened in 1902 and is named after Elam Alexander, founder of the Alexander Free School Board. Westgate Mall (Macon, Georgia)
Westgate Shopping Center (aka Westgate Mall) was the first fully enclosed shopping mall in Georgia. It opened in 1961, which was a year after Eastwood opened in Birmingham. Like most of the earliest malls, they did not affect downtown shopping since they had few anchors and a smaller selection of choices.
Claude Smith Field
Claude Smith Field is a 500-seat baseball stadium on the campus of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, United States. The facility has a press box, concession stands, and additional berm seating along the right field fence. Mercer, with athletic teams known as the Mercer Bears, is a founding member of the Atlantic Sun Conference and is the only private university in Georgia with an NCAA Division I athletic program. The facility is named for Claude Smith, Mercer baseball coach from 1948-77.
