Rosario is the largest city in the province of Santa Fe, in central Argentina. It is located 300 km (185 mi) northwest of Buenos Aires, on the western shore of the Paraná River. Rosario is the third most populous city in the country, and also the most populous non-capital city in Argentina, with a growing and important metropolitan area; Greater Rosario has an estimated population of 1,276,000 as of 2012.

Greater Rosario

Greater Rosario is the metropolitan area of the city of Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. This metropolis has a population of about 1,3 million (1,276,000 million inhabitants) thus being Argentina's third most populated urban settlement, after Buenos Aires and Córdoba. The Greater Rosario comprises Rosario itself (population about 910,000) and a large area around it, spreading in all directions except eastward (because of the Paraná River).

Estadio Gigante de Arroyito

The Estadio Gigante de Arroyito is a sports stadium in Rosario, Argentina. It is the home of the Rosario Central football team. The stadium was originally opened in 1929 and remodeled to concrete in three stages, the first in 1957, the second in 1963 and the third in 1968. In the 1978 World Cup, all three second-round games of the Argentine national football team were played in the Gigante.

Ludueña Stream

The Ludueña Stream (in Spanish, Arroyo Ludueña) is a small river (about 19 kilometres long including its tributaries) in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, which starts near the city of Rosario and flows through it, mostly east-southwards, ending in the Paraná River in the neighbourhood commonly known as Arroyito, near Rosario Central's football stadium. The Ludueña drains an 800 square kilometres area which includes Rosario and several smaller towns.

This article is about the geography and urban structure of Rosario, which is the largest city of the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, and the third most populous in the country, after Córdoba and Buenos Aires. Antártida Argentina railway station is a former railway station located in Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina, in the western neighbourhood of Fisherton (intersection of Morrison Avenue and Wilde St.). The railroad and the station, then known as Fisherton Station, were built by the company Ferrocarril Central Argentino, of British origin, at the beginning of the 1890s. Estadio Mundialista de Hockey

Estadio Mundialista de Hockey is a field hockey stadium in Rosario, Argentina. It was specifically built to host the 2010 Women's Hockey World Cup, with a capacity of 12,000 with mobile grandstands. After it was announced the stadium would be the venue for the 2012 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy, a permanent grandstand was built on one of the sides of the pitch with 1,400 seats plus the mobile grandstands as previously erected for the World Cup for a total capacity of 6,200.
