Freidorf
Freidorf (German for "free village"; Hungarian: Szabadfalu) is a former village, since 1950 a district of the city of Timişoara, Romania. The famous swimmer Johnny Weissmuller, later famous for playing the role of Tarzan, was born there; he emigrated to the United States as an infant, before the age of 1. Freidorf maintains a beautiful architecture, old German style homes, and many green spaces.

Millennium Church
The Millennium Church is located in the Fabric quarter of Timişoara, Romania, near the main Traian square. The church was built in the Neo-Romanesque style by Lajos Ybl, the foundation-stone being placed in 1896. It was sanctified on 13 October 1901 by Sándor Dessewffy. The main towers are 65m high, the central cupola 45m, and the capacity is for 3,000 people. The bell was made by Antal Novotny. The altar-piece was painted by György Vastagh and its organ was made by Leopold Wegenstein.

Iosefin Synagogue
The Iosefin Synagogue (the Orthodox Temple) is a synagogue located in Iosefin, a neighbourhood of Timişoara, Romania. Built in 1910, it is the newest of the city's three synagogues, and the last still functioning. The synagogue was originally used for Orthodox Jewish believers and its more famous rabbis between the world wars were the rabbis Schick senior and junior. A Jewish primary school and kindergarten operated in the yard.

Fabric Synagogue
The Fabric New Synagogue in Timișoara, on Coloniei Street, is a Neologue synagogue in the Fabric quarter of the Romanian city of Timişoara, in the region of Banat. It was built when Timișoara (Temesvar) was a part of Transylvania and integrated in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The style is Neo-Moorish; it remains one of the most impressive buildings in the city. The year of the foundation of the first synagogue on this site is disputed. Some opinions date it to the year 1838, others, to 1841.
