Karosta
Karosta (War Port) is a neighbourhood in the north of Liepāja in western Latvia by the Baltic sea. Karosta was constructed in 1890-1906 as a naval base for the Russian Tsar Alexander III, and later served as a base for the Soviet Baltic Fleet. Now it is a very popular place for tourists and artists, since there are unique sights and interesting places, such as the scenic seascapes with partially blasted fortresses on the Baltic shore.

Daugava Stadium (Liepāja)
Daugava Stadium (Daugavas stadions) is a multi-purpose stadium in Liepāja, Latvia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FHK Liepājas Metalurgs. The stadium holds 5,083 people, and hosted the Baltic Cup 1992. From 1925 to 1934 the stadium was named "Strādnieku stadions" (workers' stadium), from 1934 to 1990 "Pilsētas stadions" (town stadium).

Liepāja Special Economic zone was established in 1997 for a 20-year period with the aim of developing trade, industry, shipping and air traffic, as well as international freight flow via Latvia. The goal of the Liepāja SEZ is to attract investments for the development of manufacturing and infrastructure, and creation of new jobs.
Bārta
Bārta (in Latvian), also named Bartuva (in Lithuanian) and Bartów (in Polish), is a river in western Lithuania and Latvia. It originates in the Plungė district, 3 km to north of Lake Plateliai. The Bārta flows in a northwesterly direction, passing through the Skuodas district and the city of Skuodas, before entering Latvia. The Bārta flows into Liepāja lake, which is connected with the Baltic Sea.

Monument to the sailors and fishermen lost at sea (Latvian: Piemineklis bojā gājušajiem jūrniekiem un zvejniekiem) is a notable modern monument and sightseeing place in Liepāja, Latvia. The monument was built in 1977 by architect Gunārs Asaris and sculptor Alberts Terpilovskis with a funding from LBORF and the fishing kolhoz Boļševiks.
Šķēde
Šķēde (Skede) is a suburban settlement near Liepāja, Latvia, in Medze parish. It is located on the north border of the city. Šķēde was the biggest dacha cooperative in Latvia in the times of Latvian SSR. One of the Šķēde's notable features are street names, which are called "lines" and numbered from 1 to 18. Typical Šķēde addresses look like: Šķēde 1-15-2. Until 2005, the main Liepāja landfill was located near Šķēde.
Liepāja lake
Lake Liepāja is the fifth-largest lake in Latvia, located near Liepāja in the Liepāja District. The total area of the lake is 37.15 km, and it has a length of 16.2 km, average depth of 2.0 m, and a shoreline of 44.6 km. Lake Liepāja is a pod-shaped shallow eutrophic coastal lake with extensive areas of emergent vegetation, surrounded by seasonally flooded meadows and arable land. Polders and dams enclose most of the wetland area.

Grobiņa Castle is a medieval castle located in the town of Grobiņa, Latvia, in western Courland. The ancient Curonian castle hill (Skābāržu kalns) is located only 100 m from the castle. It is supposed to be the famous Seeburg, which is mentioned in Scandinavian sources already in ninth century.

Holy Trinity Cathedral, Liepāja
Liepāja Holy Trinity Lutheran Cathedral (Latvian: Liepājas Svētās Trīsvienības katedrāle) is a historical Lutheran cathedral in Liepāja, Latvia. The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1742 and on December 5, 1758, the church was solemnly consecrated. The church interior and exterior architecture is built in the late baroque style with classic features. The cathedral interior is characterized by its Rococo features and luxurious furnishings with wood carvings and gold plating.
