The Royal Library, Denmark
The Royal Library in Copenhagen, Denmark (Danish: Det Kongelige Bibliotek), is the national library of Denmark and the university library of the University of Copenhagen. It is the largest library in the Nordic countries. It contains numerous historical treasures; all works that have been printed in Denmark since the 17th century are deposited there. Thanks to extensive donations in the past the library holds nearly all known Danish printed works back to the first Danish book, printed in 1482.
Faculty of Humanities (University of Copenhagen)
The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Copenhagen is the largest faculty in terms of number of students and range of subjects. It has 22 departments plus a number of multi-disciplinary centres that cover about 75 subjects. Islands Brygge is a harbourfront area in central Copenhagen, Denmark, located on the north-western coast of Amager. The neighbourhood is noted for its waterfront park Havneparken, which is one of the most popular areas along the Copenhagen harbourfront and the location of one of the Copenhagen Harbour Baths. Established through a series of Land reclamations from the 1880s, serving both military, residential, industrial and dockland purposes.

Danish Jewish Museum
The Danish Jewish Museum (Danish: Dansk Jødisk Museum), in Copenhagen, Denmark, sits inside the Danish Royal Library’s old Galley House and exhibits Danish Jewish historical artifacts and art. Designed by world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, the building memorializes the story of Danish Jews who were saved from Nazi persecution by their fellow Danes in October 1943. Construction of the Museum began in March 2003 and the museum opened in June 2004.

The Tøjhus Museum is a museum of military history and arms on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in Christian IVs arsenal Tøjhuset, from which it takes its name.
Christian IV's Brewhouse
Christian IV's Brewhouse is a building in Copenhagen, Denmark, dating from 1608. In spite of the name under which it is known today, the building was not originally built for the purpose of brewing beer. It is located on Slotsholmen by the harbourfront and was constructed for military purposes as a corner bastion, part of Christian IV's fortification of the city.
Copenhagen Harbour Baths
Copenhagen Harbour Baths is a system of recreational bathing facilities along the waterfront of Copenhagen, Denmark. There are currently four harbour baths, the first and best-known of which is located at Islands Brygge. The harbour baths serve as a supplement to the beaches around the city, such as the extensive urban beach at Amager Strandpark. In 2010 the Royal Danish Theatre also established the temporary artificial Ophelia Beach on the Kvæsthusbroen pier next to the Royal Playhouse.

Langebro
Langebro is a bascule bridge across the Inner Harbour of Copenhagen, Denmark, connecting Zealand-side H. C. Andersens Boulevard to Amager-side Amager Boulevard. It is one of only two bridges to carry motor vehicles across the harbour in central Copenhagen, the other being Knippelsbro.
Søren Kierkegaards Plads
Søren Kierkegaards Plads is a harbourside public square on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It occupies a strip of waterfront between the Black Diamond, whose main entrance faces the square, and the Frederiksholm Canal. Away from the water, the square is faced by Christian IV's Brewhouse as well as his old arsenal, now housing the Royal Military Museum.
Black Diamond (library)
The Black Diamond is a modern waterfront extension to the Royal Danish Library's old building on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Its quasi-official nickname is a reference to its polished black granite cladding and irregular angles. Designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lassen, the Black Diamond was completed in 1999 as the first in a series of large-scale cultural buildings along Copenhagen's waterfront.
Royal Library Garden, Copenhagen
The Royal Library Garden, often referred to simply as the Library Garden, is a small, somewhat hidden garden between the Royal Library, the Tøjhus Museum, ChristianIV's Supply Depot and Christiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It has a reputation for being one of the most tranquil spots in the city centre. The garden has a shallow water basin with a water feature in the middle, blooming flower beds and large shady trees.
Christian IV's Arsenal
Christian IV's Arsenal, is a historic building on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built by Christian IV of Denmark in 1604 as part of a grand scheme for the construction of a new naval harbour. The arsenal, along with several other buildings, surrounded the harbour basin which was connected to the main harbour by a narrow canal. Later, when ships became too large to enter the harbour, the fleet moved to Bremerholm and the decommissioned naval harbour was later filled in.
Leda and the Swan (Copenhagen)
A Leda and the Swan statue, depicting the classical myth of Leda and the Swan, was from 1611 to 1795 a major landmark in Copenhagen, Denmark. The statue topped a tall column located just off the entrance to the naval Arsenal Harbour harbour.
Staldmestergården
Staldmestergården is a historic building on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located at 21 Frederiksholms Kanal, in between Christiansborg Rising Grounds and Christian IV's Brewhouse. Originally for the administration personnel of the royal stables, it now houses the Ministries of Education and Ecclesiastical Affairs.
The Crystal, Copenhagen
The Crystal is a free-standing, environmentally friendly and award-winning extension of Nykredit headquarters at the Kalvebod Brygge waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. Designed by schmidt hammer lassen, it takes its name from its light, crystalline form which rests on only a single point and a single line, allowing for unhindered views as well as passage underneath the building.
Theatre Museum in the Court Theatre
The Theatre Museum in the Court Theatre is situated at Christiansborg Manege on Slotsholmen, Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1912 by a private group of theater enthusiasts. Under the leadership of Robert Neiiendam (1880–1966), the head of the Theatre Museum at the Court Theatre, it was moved in 1922 to the old Court Theatre.
Royal Horse Guards Barracks (Copenhagen)
The Royal Horse Guards Barracks, at 26 Frederiksholms Kanal in Copenhagen, Denmark, served as barracks for the Royal Horse Guards from 1792 until 1866. The building is located along the south side of a gated alleyway which connects Frederiksholm Canal to Vester Voldgade.
Fæstningens Materialgård
Fæstningens Materialgård is a former military storage facility at 30 Frederiksholms Kanal in Copenhagen, Denmark. Arranged around a central courtyard, the individual buildings have been built to a homogeneious design, all with yellow-washed facades, green doors and gates, white window frames and red tile roofs, but they have in fact been accumulated over an extended period of time, mainly between 1740 and 1925.
Frederiksholms Kanal
Frederiksholms Kanal is a canal in central Copenhagen, Denmark, which runs along the south-west side of Slotsholmen, together with Slotholmens Kanal separating the island from Zealand. The name also applies to the continuation of Rådhusstræde which follows the canal for most of its course, first on its south side and for the last stretch, from Prinsens Bro and to the waterfront, on both sides of the canal.
