Amalienborg
Amalienborg is the winter home of the Danish royal family, and is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of four identical classicizing palace façades with rococo interiors around an octagonal courtyard; in the centre of the square is a monumental equestrian statue of Amalienborg's founder, King Frederick V. Amalienborg was originally built for four noble families; however, when Christiansborg Palace burnt down on 26 February 1794, the royal family bought the palaces and moved in.
Danish Museum of Art & Design
The Danish Museum of Art & Design (formerly, Danish Museum of Decorative Art; Danish: Kunstindustrimuseet) is a museum in Copenhagen for Danish and international design and crafts. It features works of famous Danish designers like Arne Jacobsen, Jacob Jensen and Kaare Klint, who was one of the two architects who remodeled the former Frederiks Hospital (built 1752–57) into a museum in the 1920s. The exhibition also features a variety of Chinese and German porcelain.
Brockdorff's Palace
Brockdorff's Palace is one of the four palaces of Amalienborg in Copenhagen. It was built 1750-1760 by Baron Joachim Brockdorff. Since 1765 it has been owned by the crown, first used as naval academy and since 1828 as residence of various part of the royal family, among those King Frederick VIII. Therefore the palace is also known as Frederick VIII's Palace. It is one of the two palaces facing the Amaliehaven waterfront, the other being the residence of the Queen and Prince Consort.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Copenhagen is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church named after its episcopal see, the Danish national capital, Copenhagen. It covers all Denmark (as in neighbouring provinces where none of the pre-Reformation bishoprics were re-established after Lutheranism became the new official state church in the 16th century) and two Danish overseas possessions, the Faroe Islands and Greenland.

Frederiks Hospital
The royal Frederiks Hospital was Denmark's first hospital in the present-day meaning of the word. It was founded by king Frederik V and financed by the earnings from the Norwegian Postal Service. The buildings, situated in Bredgade in Copenhagen and currently housing the Danish Museum of Art & Design, were, along with the rest of Frederiksstaden, designed by Nicolai Eigtved and Lauritz de Thurah and built in 1752-1757. It opened on March 31, 1757 on the birthday of Frederick V.

Fødsels- og Plejestiftelsen is a Danish maternity institution which was founded by Queen Juliane Marie on April 8, 1785. The institution was created for women to give birth anonymously and receiving free medical care. The purpose was to avoid infanticide. The woman was offered eternal anonymity, however this ruling was changed in 2007, and the archive is now accessible, mostly for genealogy purposes.

Amaliegade
Amaliegade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark, which makes up the longer of the two axes on which the Rococo district Frederiksstaden is centred. Amaliegade extends from Sankt Annæ Plads to Esplanaden, passing through the central plaza of Amalienborg Palace on the way where it intersects Frederiksgade, the other, shorter but more prominent, axis of the district. The street is dominated by a number of elegant mansions, most of which are from the second half of the 18th century.
Yellow Palace, Copenhagen
The Yellow Palace (Danish: Det Gule Palæ), or Bergum's Mansion, is a mansion in Amaliegade next to Amalienborg Palace in the Frederiksstaden district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is considered the first example of Neoclassical architecture in Copenhagen. The mansion was built as a burgher's house but was acquired by the Danish Royal Family. Prince Christian of Glücksborg, later to become Christian IX of Denmark, took up residence in it when he first arrived in Copenhagen.

Sankt Annæ Plads
Sankt Annæ Plads is a public square which marks the border between the Nyhavn area and the Frederiksstaden district in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a long narrow rectangle which extends inland from the waterfront, at a point just north of the Royal Danish Playhouse at the base of the Kvæsthusbroen pier, until it meets Bredgade. The unusual shape is due to the square's past as a canal similar to nearby Nyhavn.
Amaliehaven
Amaliehaven is a small park located between Amalienborg Palace and the waterfront in the Frederiksstaden neighbourhood of central Copenhagen, Denmark. A relatively new park, it was established in 1983 as a gift from the A.P. Møller and the Chastine McKinney Møller Foundation. The park is now part of the so-called Frederiksgade axis, the shorter but more distinctive of the two axes on which Frederiksstaden is centred.
Frederiksgade
Frederiksgade is a street in the Frederiksstaden neighbourhood of central Copenhagen. It runs east from Store Kongensgade to Toldbodgade on the waterfront, passing the Marble Church, Bredgade and Amaliegade on the way. At the Marble Church the street splits and curves around both sides of the church before rejoining on its other side.
Bredgade
Bredgade is one of the most prominent streets in Copenhagen, Denmark. Running in a straight line from Kongens Nytorv for just under one kilometre to the intersection of Esplanaden and Grønningen, it is one of the major streets in Frederiksstaden, a Rococo district laid out in the middle of the 18th century to commemorate the tercentenary of the House of Oldenburg's ascension to the Danish throne. It is lined with a number of fine mansions as well as other historic buildings.
Alexander Nevsky Church, Copenhagen
The Alexander Nevsky Church is the only Russian Orthodox church in Copenhagen. It was built by the Russian Government between 1881 and 1883, prompted by Princess Dagmar of Denmark's marriage to Alexander Alexandrovich on 9 November 1866 and their later ascent to the Russian throne as Tsar Alexander III of Russia and Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna. The church is dedicated to the Russian patron saint Alexander Nevsky
Odd Fellows Mansion, Copenhagen
The Odd Fellows Mansion is a Rococo town mansion in Copenhagen, Denmark, named after the local branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows which acquired the building in 1900. Before that, it was known as the Berckentin and later the Schimmelmann Mansion after its successive owners. The Building is located on Bredgade, opposite Dronningens Tværgade for which it serves as a point de vue. It houses a concert hall which is open to the public.
Esplanaden, Copenhagen
Esplanaden is a street in Copenhagen, Denmark. It extends eastwards from Store Kongensgade and runs along the south side of the city's 17th century citadel Kastellet and Churchillparken until it reaches the waterfront at Nordre Toldbod, just south of Langelinie, passing Amaliegade, Bredgade and Grønningen on the way. It marks the northern border of the Frederiksstaden district. It is best known as the address of the headquarters of A. P. Moller-Maersk, the largest shipping company in the world.
Larsens Plads
Larsens Plads is a waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark, which runs along the Zealand side of the main harbour from the Nyhavn canal in the south to the Nordre Toldbod area just south of Langelinie to the north. The name refers to a shipyard which used to occupy the grounds but is now more associated with emigration to America after it became a major hub for trans-Atlantic traffic later in the century.

Classen Library
The Classen Library was a public library in Copenhagen, Denmark, created from the private book collection of Johan Frederik Classen at the time of his death in 1792. It was the third largest library in the city, surpassed only by the Royal Danish Library and Copenhagen University Library and existed until 1867 when it was merged with the latter. Its building at 38 Amaliegade now houses Det Konserveringsfaglige Videncenter, a centre for conservation. It was listed in 1918.
Frederik V on Horseback
Frederik V on Horseback is a sculpture in Amalienborg Square, Copenhagen, framed by the four symmetrical wings of the Amalienborg palace. The statue represents Frederick V of Denmark in classic attire, crowned with laurels and with his hand outstretched, holding a baton. Commissioned by the Danish East India Company, it was designed in Neoclassical style by Jacques Saly in 1768 and was cast in bronze in 1771.
