En kraftig storm med orkanvindstød hærger i nordsjælland. S-togene fik problemer med væltede træer, og der måtte improviseres., her lidt af oplevelses set fra perronen i Holte.

Birkerød station is the railway station in Birkerød north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is served by S-trains on the Hillerød radial. The railway station was built in 1864 and the first S-trains were used in 1968. When built, the railroad station was situated a bit outside Birkerød. The reason for this was that it had to be situated on a hill to make it easier to get the trains started again after stopping. But today, Birkerød has grown a lot, so it is now located in the centre of the city.

Frilandsmuseet (English: The Open Air Museum) is an open air museum in Lyngby at the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The National Museum of Denmark's new museum, Brede Works, lies in the countryside just north of Copenhagen in Denmark's largest, protected industrial plants. At the museum of Industrial culture, the visitors can be guided around by its own virtual person between old machines, hear how Denmark became an industrial society and even try to work at an assembly line. The exhibitions show the industrial development which has changed the everyday lives of the Danes over the past few centuries.
Øverød is a neighborhood in Holte in the Copenhagen Metropolitan area. The district belongs to Rudersdal Municipality and is situated east of Via Regia and Rude Forest and north of Lake Søllerød. Øverød was originally an ancient village with its own city festival, but today Øverød is agglomerated with Holte, and these two areas have a total population of around 10,300 inhabitants (2008).
Lake Bagsværd is a lake in Northeastern Zealand, Denmark. After Furesø, it is the second largest lake in the Mølleå system. The lake provides drainage for the Mølleåen via Furå to Lyngby lake. Bagsværd is the site of various international rowing, sailing, kayaking and windsurfing competitions. In the summer with its numerous beaches and only 15 kilometres north of Copenhagen, it is a site of relaxation for the Danish people. Søllerød Town Hall, now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in the village of Søllerød some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.
Frieboeshvile is a Baroque-style country house in Kongens Lyngby north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located across the street from Sorgenfri Palace, where Lyngby Main Street extends from Kongevejen. The most notable former resident is Georg Ferdinand Duckwitz who played an important part in the Rescue of the Danish Jews during World War II. The house now serves as a historic house museum showing how Copenhagen peers decorated their country homes in the late 18th century.
