Birkerød station

Birkerød station is the railway station in Birkerød north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is served by S-trains on the Hillerød radial. The railway station was built in 1864 and the first S-trains were used in 1968. When built, the railroad station was situated a bit outside Birkerød. The reason for this was that it had to be situated on a hill to make it easier to get the trains started again after stopping. But today, Birkerød has grown a lot, so it is now located in the centre of the city.

Lake Bagsværd is a lake in Northeastern Zealand, Denmark. After Furesø, it is the second largest lake in the Mølleå system. The lake provides drainage for the Mølleåen via Furå to Lyngby lake. Søllerød Town Hall

Søllerød Town Hall, now renamed Rudersdal Town Hall, was built for the former Søllerød Municipality which in 2007 became part of Rudersdal Municipality, combining Søllerød and Birkerød. The building is located in the village of Søllerød some 19 km to the north of Copenhagen's city centre. Designed by Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen, it was completed in 1942.

Frieboeshvile

Frieboeshvile is a Baroque-style country house in Kongens Lyngby north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located across the street from Sorgenfri Palace, where Lyngby Main Street extends from Kongevejen. The most notable former resident is Georg Ferdinand Duckwitz who played an important part in the Rescue of the Danish Jews during World War II.
