Holdom Station

Holdom Station is located on the elevated portion of the Millennium Line, a part of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Holdom Avenue in Burnaby. The station structure is topped with a sculpture by glass artist Graham Scott, including square lanterns made of sandblasted mirror that is lit by stage-quality lighting. The colour of the lights, controlled by a computer, continually and randomly changes.

Burnaby Lake Regional Park

Burnaby Lake is a lake located in Burnaby, British Columbia and is the focal geographic feature and namesake of Burnaby Lake Regional Park. Occupying 3.11 square kilometres of land, and is home to a large variety of wildlife. At least 70 species of birds make the lake and surrounding areas their home, and about 214 species of birds visit the lake throughout the year. The park has been managed by the Metro Vancouver Parks Department since 1977.

Parkcrest

Parkcrest is a hillside neighbourhood in North Burnaby adjacent to Kensington Park which gave it its name. It has a long rectangular shape stretched north to south and is bounded by Springer Avenue to the west and Kensington Avenue to the east. To the north its border runs along Hastings Street, its southern border lies along the Lougheed Highway and Skytrain tracks. Its elevation gradually lowers to the south and ends up in Central Valley, quite low above the level of Burnaby Lake.
