Curramulka, South Australia
Curramulka is a town on the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia. Curramulka is within easy driving distance of the coastal resort towns of Port Victoria and Port Vincent and is 15 kilometres north-east of the regional ‘capital’ of Minlaton. At the 2006 census, Curramulka had a population of 148. Nearby is what are acknowledged as the most extensive chain of limestone caves in the southern hemisphere. The sheer size of the system is also the reason why so little is known about it.
