Baylor School

Baylor School, commonly called Baylor, is a private, coeducational prep school on the outskirts of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1893, the school currently sits atop a 680 acres campus and enrolls students in grades 6-12, including boarding students in grades 9-12. These students are served by Baylor's 148 members of faculty, over two-thirds of whom hold advanced degrees, including nearly 40 adults who live on campus and serve as dorm parents.

WGOW (AM)

WGOW, known as "NewsRadio 1150", is the Chattanooga home for mostly conservative syndicated talk radio programs from ABC Radio. It broadcasts on AM frequency 1150 kHz and is currently under ownership of Cumulus Media. The station first went on the air in the early 1970s as a Top 40 station. By the mid 1980s the station had evolved into more of an Adult Contemporary style format. In the late 1980s they shifted to their current News/Talk format.

WDEF (1370 AM, "Fox Sports Radio 1370") is a radio station serving the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area. The station is currently owned by Bahakel Communications along with WDEF-FM, WDOD-FM, and WUUQ. WDEF has long been the sister station to WDEF-FM and was the sister station to WDEF-TV, before being spun off from the CBS affiliate in the 1990s.

Brown's Ferry, Tennessee

Brown's Ferry, Tennessee is an historical crossing point over the Tennessee River between Lookout Valley and Moccasin Bend in the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was the site of the Battle of Brown's Ferry during the American Civil War. The ferry crossing was a key to the Cracker Line which became a reliable supply route for the Union Army in Chattanooga. It was included into the city of Chattanooga in an annexation in 1972.
