Taichung County
Taichung County was a county in central Taiwan, the Republic of China, that surrounded but did not include Taichung City. The name Taichung means "central Taiwan". On December 25, 2010, the county and city merged to form a single special municipality.

The American School in Taichung (AST) is an international school in Taichung City, Taiwan offering grades one to twelve. The school, founded in 1990, was previously known as Lincoln American School. It is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and hosts the annual Taiwan Model United Nations (TAIMUN) conference from schools all across Taiwan. Taichung Baseball Field
The Taichung Baseball Field (台中棒球場) is a multi-purpose stadium in Taichung, Taiwan. Built in 1935 during the Taiwan under Japanese rule era, this stadium has been repeatedly refurbished and currently can seat 8,500 people. This stadium has been the home of professional baseball teams such as Jungo Bears(1993–1995), Sinon Bears (first half 1996), and Sinon Bulls(second half 1996–present) of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), and Taichung Agan(1997–2002) of Taiwan Major League (TML).
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is located in Taichung, the third largest city in Taiwan. The stadium officially opened on November 9, 2006 replacing the antiquated Taichung Baseball Field. Located on the corner of Chongde Road (崇德路) and Huanzhong Road (環中路), it has considerably more parking available than the old stadium, which will be much more convenient for fans. The stadium is a venue for rock concerts and also hosted Zhang Yimou's Turandot at the Bird's Nest in 2010.

Ching Chuan Kang Air Base (CCK) is a Republic Of China Air Force base located on Taiwan. It is the home to the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, with three squadrons of Ching-kou (IDF) air-defense /attack fighters. It is also used by the army's airborne and special operations command. Ching Chuan Kang Air Base is shared with Taichung Airport commonly known as Taichung Ching Chuang Kang Airport.

Johnstown Christian School

It was founded in 1944 by a group of Mennonite families who were concerned about the spiritual growth and development of their children. The school was reorganized in 1973 as the Johnstown Christian School to better reflect the broader Christian community of the Johnstown area that was being served. The school serves children in kindergarten through 12th grade.

It was contracted on 11 November 2009 with construction planned for 45 months, and is estimated to be finished in December 2013.
