Hsinchu County is a county in north-western Taiwan. The population of the county is mainly Hakka; there is a Taiwanese aboriginal minority in the southeastern part of the county. Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park
Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park is an industrial park established by the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) on December 15, 1980. It straddles Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County on the island of Taiwan. Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park was founded by Kwoh-Ting Li, former Finance Minister of Republic of China. Inspired by Silicon Valley in the United States, Li consulted Frederick Terman, on how Taiwan could follow its example.
Qingshui District
Qingshui (清水區) is a coastal suburban district in western Taichung City, Taiwan. The ancient name was "Niu Ma Tou. "(牛罵頭) It is located at the foothills of Ao Feng mountain and faces the Taiwan Strait. Its neighbors are Dajia, Shalu, Waipu, Shengang, and Wuqi Districts. Gao-Mei marsh is its most famous natural attraction. It is a good place to research birds, plants, and the ecology of creatures in the marsh.

The Asia-Pacific Institute of Creativity, formerly known as Chin Min College of Technology and Commerce (親民技術學院), is an educational college in Taiwan. As of 2004 it has approximately 6,800 students and 250 administrative and teaching staff.

Chung Hua University is a private university located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chung Hua Polytechnic Institute founded in 1990 by three local Hsinchu entrepreneurs, Ron-Chang Wang, Zau-Juang Tsai, and Junq-Tzer Lin. It upgraded university status and renamed as "Chung Hua University" in 1997. Baoshan Township is located in western Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The name Baoshan means "Treasure Mountain" in Mandarin Chinese. It is ostensibly a suburb of Hsinchu City to the north and west, and is also bounded by Zhudong City to the east, Beipu and Emei Towns to the south, and Miaoli County to the west. The town is populated predominantly by people of Hakka ethnicity, and is part of "the Greater Daai Area -- the largest Hakka area in northern Taiwan" along with Beipu and Emei. http://www.

Zhudong is an urban township in central Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Part of Hsinchu Science Park is in Zhudong. Also located in Zhudong is the main campus of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). Zhudong is approximately 20 minutes drive from Hsinchu town centre on one of two freeways, route 3 North, which passes nearby and route 68 East which proceeds directly through Zhudong. Literally, Zhudong means "bamboo east. " Zhu being bamboo, and dong being east.

Hsinchu CKS Baseball Stadium (Hsinchu Chiang Kai-shek Baseball Stadium) is a baseball stadium in Hsinchu City in Northern Taiwan. Originally it was to have been called the Hsinchu Sadaharu Oh Baseball Stadium; however, during its construction the then President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek, died, and the stadium was renamed in his honour. Inaugurated on 27 November 1976, the stadium has been in use ever since.
Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship
The Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It was played for the first time in 2011 at the Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Yangmei, Taiwan. It is the first LPGA tournament ever played in Taiwan. It is a 72-hole, limited field tournament with 90 players competing and no half-way cut. All players play all 72 holes.
