Lukang, Changhua
Lukang is an urban township in northwestern Changhua County, Taiwan (latitude 24°03'N, longitude 120°26'E). The township is on the west coast of Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. The township's name came from the port's trade of deerskins during the Dutch colonial period. Its old Taiwanese name was Lo̍k-á-káng (鹿仔港). Lukang was an important sea port in the 18th century and 19th century. It was the most populous city in central Taiwan until the early 20th century.
Hemei, Changhua
Hemei is an urban township in northwestern Changhua County, Taiwan. It is bordered by the Dadu River to the north, Shengang and Siansi to the west, Lugang and Sioushuei to the south, and Changhua City to the east. Area: 39.93 km² Population: 87,792 people (2003)
National Highway 3 (Taiwan)
National Highway No. 3 is the second North-South freeway in Taiwan. It begins in Keelung City at Jijin Interchange on the Provincial Highway No. 2 (Jijin Road) and ends in Linbian, Pingtung on the Provincial Highway No. 17. The total length of the highway is 430.5 km, with 55 interchanges, 13 junctions, 11 toll stations, and 7 service areas en route. Aside from the 55 public interchanges, there are also some interchanges reserved for governmental usage.
Tunghai University
Tunghai University was founded by Methodist missionaries in 1955 as a comprehensive university. Moreover, Tunghai University was founded as the first private university making it the second oldest university in Taiwan, which earned the school its fame and reputation. The university is located on the western side of Taichung, Taiwan, an urbanized area. On the grounds, Luce Memorial Chapel (designed by noted architect I. M. Pei) is a local landmark.
Luce Memorial Chapel
The Luce Memorial Chapel is a Christian chapel on the campus of Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. It was designed by the architect and artist Chen Chi-Kwan in collaboration with the firm of noted architect I. M. Pei, and named in honor of the Rev. Henry W. Luce, an American missionary in China in the late 19th century and father of publisher Henry Luce. The project was originally planned in April 1954 but put on hold until July 1960.
Baguashan Tunnel
Baguashan Tunnel, on Provincial Highway No. 76, Taiwan, transverses Baguashan (八卦山) between Lincuo IC. (林厝交流道) and Jhongsing SIC. (中興系統交流道). The length of the north tube for westbound traffic is 4,928 m . The length of the south tube for eastbound traffic is 4,935 m . Connecting Yuanlin, Changhua and Caotun, Nantou, its opening significantly reduced the travel time between Changhua and Nantou.
Shr-Hwa International Tower
The Shr-Hwa International Tower (世華國際大樓) is located in Taichung, Taiwan. It is the sixth tallest building in Taiwan and the tallest in central Taiwan. This building has a peculiar shape of a bamboo.

Dayeh University
Dayeh University is a private university in Dacun Township, Changhua County, Taiwan. It was established in 1990 as Dayeh Institute of Technology by Song Gen Yeh who wanted to establish the first German-style polytechnic in Taiwan. In August 1997, Dayeh's status as a university was approved by the Ministry of Education and it was renamed Dayeh University. In 2007, Dayeh University won the National Solar Model Car Race.

Taichung Metropolitan Opera House
Taichung Metropolitan Opera House (台中大都會歌劇院) is an opera house under construction in the 7th Metropolitan area of Taichung city, Taiwan. The estimated area of the structure is 57,685 square metres with 2,011 seats. It was designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito. It was contracted on 11 November 2009 with construction planned for 45 months, and is estimated to be finished in December 2013.

Changhua City
Changhua City is the county seat of Changhua County in Taiwan. For many centuries the site was home to a settlement of Babuza people, a coastal tribe of Taiwanese aborigines. The name of the city is derived from the aboriginal word Poasoa. Changhua city is ranked third by population as county-controlled city only after Taoyuan City and Zhongli City.
