It was then transliterated into Chinese as "八芝蘭" Bāzhīlán, and finally re-analyzed as "scholars as many as the trees in the woods" (士多如林).

Datong District is a district of Taipei City, Taiwan. It is located between the Taipei Metro Red Line and eastern shore of the Tamsui River, and between Civic Boulevard and the Sun Yat-sen Freeway. Dadaocheng, spelled Twatutia before Japanese rule, is an area in the Datong District, part of the Taipei Basin and a historic section of Taipei City. It was known as Daitotei by the Japanese and Tataocheng during the Kuomintang era. Dadaocheng was an important trading port in the 19th century, and is still a major historical tourist attraction and shopping area. When the export of tea became important in northern Taiwan in the mid-19th century, many businessmen came to Dadaocheng.

Luzhou District is an inner city district in northwestern New Taipei City, Taiwan. It has an area of 8.2 km² (2003) and a population of 198,373 people in 66,457 households (December 2011). Luzhou has the second highest population density in Taiwan and 13th in the world, with over 26,600 people per km². Historically the area was called Lō·-chiu (鷺州) and Hê-siūⁿ-chiu (和尚州). Until the 25 December 2010 creation of New Taipei, Luzhou was itself a city in the former Taipei County.

Zhongshan Soccer Stadium, Chungshan Soccer Stadium, or Taipei Soccer Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei Confucius Temple

The Taipei Confucius Temple is modeled after the original Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province of China. It is located on Dalong Street, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan. Dalongdong Baoan Temple also known as the Taipei Baoan Temple is a Taiwanese folk religion temple built in the Datong district of Taipei, Taiwan. The present temple was originally built by clan members in the Tong'an District (同安) who immigrated to Taipei in the early 19th century and gave the temple the name Bao'an (保安) in order to "protect those of tong'an" (保佑同安).
