Shilin District
For the rock formations in Yunnan, see Shilin (Stone Forest). Shilin District is a district of Taipei. The name "Shilin" was derived from Pattsiran, the Ketagalan word for "hot springs". It was then transliterated into Chinese as "八芝蘭" Bāzhīlán, and finally re-analyzed as "scholars as many as the trees in the woods" (士多如林).

Bailing Sport Park
Bailing Sport Park is a multi-use sport venue located in Shilin District, Taipei. The park has been open since 1989. It resides along Shilin and Shezi shores of the Keelung River, with around 2,900 metres in length and 60 to 100 metres in width. Total surface area is around 280,000 square metres.

Taipei Confucius Temple
The Taipei Confucius Temple is modeled after the original Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province of China. It is located on Dalong Street, Datong District, Taipei City, Taiwan. Among the Confucius temples in Taiwan, Taipei's is the only one adorned with southern Fujian-style ceramic adornments. At the main hall of the temple one can see a black plaque with gold lettering which was inscribed by Chiang Kai-shek that reads "Educate without Discrimination.

Taipei Broadcasting Station or Radio Taipei is a government owned radio station in the Republic of China. It has been in operation since July 7, 1961 under the direction of the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government. It is located in Taipei City, Taiwan directly across from the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
Dihua Street
Dihua Street is a street located in the Datong District (大同區) of Taipei winding from the south of the district to close to the north in the old village of Dalongdong (大龍峒). The street, then known as Centre Street (中街), was constructed during the 1850s, when many commercial entities belonging to Quanzhou-originating owners moved in from the nearby village of Bangka (艋舺).
Dalongdong
Dalongdong, or Pourompon is an old village in historical Taipei located nears the narrows of the intersection between the Keelung and Tamsui Rivers. The district has since been merged with the newer Dadaocheng (大稻埕) district in the south during the Qing dynasty to form the Datong District.
Dalongdong Baoan Temple
Dalongdong Baoan Temple also known as the Taipei Baoan Temple is a Taiwanese folk religion temple built in the Datong district of Taipei, Taiwan. The present temple was originally built by clan members in the Tong'an District (同安) who immigrated to Taipei in the early 19th century and gave the temple the name Bao'an (保安) in order to "protect those of tong'an" (保佑同安). The Taipei Confucius Temple is located adjacent to the Baoan Temple.
