Carolina Rediviva

Carolina Rediviva is the main building of the Uppsala University Library in Uppsala, Sweden. The building was begun in 1820 and completed in 1841. The original architect was Carl Fredrik Sundvall. Later additions to the building have been designed by Axel Johan Anderberg and Peter Celsing. The name, literally "Carolina Revived", was given in remembrance of the old Academia Carolina building, which had functioned as university library for most of the 18th century.

Bror Hjorths Hus

Bror Hjorths Hus, (Bror Hjorth's House) is a museum of the artist Bror Hjorth (1894–1968), located in Uppsala, Sweden. The museum has a large collection of Hjorth's work. The house which was built in 1943 was for 25 years the home and studio of Bror Hjorth. It became a museum in 1978.

Paleontological Museum of Uppsala University

The Paleontological Museum of Uppsala University, also known as Evolutionsmuseet, is a museum in Sweden containing the largest fossil collection in Scandinavia. The number of items in today's collection is approximately around 5 million unique pieces. The museum's collection contains three teeth of the Peking Man.

Pingstförsamlingarnas teologiska seminarium

The Pingstförsamlingarnas teologiska seminarium is a Pentecostal seminary located in Uppsala serving Pentecostal Christians of Sweden. The Seminary offers three-year training for missionaries, evangelists and pastors, usually employing a mentor pastor/student method. There is collaboration with the Uppsala University and it houses the Institutet för pentekostala studier (Institute for Pentecostal Studies).

Botaniska trädgården (Uppsala)

The University of Uppsala Botanical Garden (in Swedish Botaniska trädgården), near Uppsala Castle, is the principal botanical garden belonging to Uppsala University. It was created on land donated to the university in 1787 by Sweden's King Gustav III, who also laid the cornerstone of its orangery. Uppsala University also maintains two satellite botanical gardens.

Gottsunda

Gottsunda, is a district in Uppsala, Sweden. In 2007, it had 9,474 inhabitants of whom 4,610 (48,7%) had a foreign background. The name is derived form the farm Gottsunda, and Gutasund or Guttasund is mentioned in sources as far back as 1304. The majority of present buildings were built as part of the so called Million Programme in the 1960s and 1970s. The Swedish botanist Carl von Linné is known to have made excursions to Gottsunda with his students during the 18th century.

Geijersgården

For Geijersgården in Värmland, see Ransäters bruksherrgård. Geijersgården (The Geijer Farm) is located in the central of Uppsala, Sweden, beside Ihregården, north of Carolina Rediviva, the main building of Uppsala University Library. The name of the farm comes from Erik Gustaf Geijer who lived here 1837–46. The mainbuilding was built 1737–38 by governor Johan Brauner.
