Colegio Ponceño is a Roman Catholic, Piarist, pre K-12 preparatory school located in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The institution "has been recognized by the College Board as the best among public and private schools in Puerto Rico during the last 14 years. Río Bayagán
Río Bayagán is a river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Río Bayagán is a tributary of Río Cerrillos. It has a length of approximately 6 kilometers and generally runs south. It originates in barrio Montes Llanos and runs south through barrio Machuelo Arriba for about 9 kilometers until it meets Río Cerrillos. It is part of the Río Bucaná watershed. Hacienda Mercedita
Hacienda Mercedita was a 300-acre sugarcane plantation in Ponce, Puerto Rico, founded in 1861, by Juan Serrallés Colón. The Hacienda was the administrative center of the large sugarcane mill called Central Mercedita as well as that of its cane sugar refinery plant which packaged the Snow White brand sugar at its nearby packaging plant.

Letras de Ponce
The Letras de Ponce is a famous landmark in Barrio Sabanetas in Ponce, Puerto Rico, located southbound on PR-52 at the intersection with PR-10. The iconic monument consists of five letters that spell the name of the city P-O-N-C-E in 20-foot high by 18-foot wide by 12-foot deep red and black letters. The letters, and its resulting sign, were designed by Carlos Rivera Villafañe, a sculptor from Ponce. The landmark is said to be "known to every Puerto Rican."
