Monaco
Monaco Listen/ˈmɒnəkoʊ/, officially the Principality of Monaco, is a sovereign city-state, located on the French Riviera in Western Europe. Bordered by France on three sides, with one side bordering the Mediterranean Sea, its center is about 16 km from Italy, and is only 13 km north east of Nice, France. It has an area of 2.02 km, and a population of 36,371, making Monaco the second smallest, and the most densely populated country in the world.
Opéra de Monte-Carlo
The Opéra de Monte-Carlo is an opera house, which is part of the Monte Carlo Casino located in the principality of Monaco. With the lack of cultural diversions available in Monaco in the 1870s, Prince Charles III, along with the Société des bains de mer, decided to include a concert hall as part of the casino. The main public entrance to the hall was from the casino, while Charles III's private entrance was on the western side.
2003 Monaco Grand Prix
The 2003 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on June 1, 2003 at the Circuit de Monaco. Juan Pablo Montoya won the race ahead of Kimi Räikkönen and Michael Schumacher who were less than two seconds behind Montoya at the finish. The last time previous to this that a Williams won the Monaco Grand Prix was with Keke Rosberg in 1983. Ralf Schumacher, who had started from pole position, finished in fourth place.
Monaco-Ville
Monaco-Ville (also known locally as French: Le Rocher or English: The Rock) is one of Monaco's administrative divisions located on a rocky headland that extends into the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the four traditional quarters of Monaco, the others being La Condamine, Monte Carlo, and Fontvieille. However, in modern administrative terms it is one of ten wards (see navigation box below for a complete list).

The 2004 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on May 23, 2004 at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The race, contested over 78 laps, was the sixth round of the 2004 Formula One season. It was won by Jarno Trulli, who took the first, and only, victory of his career for the Renault team. BAR driver, Jenson Button finished in second position, just one second behind the winner.
Circuit de Monaco
Circuit de Monaco is a street circuit laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour of the principality of Monaco. It is commonly referred to as "Monte Carlo" because it is largely inside the Monte Carlo neighbourhood of Monaco. The circuit is used on one weekend in the month of May of each year to host the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.

The 1995 Monaco Grand Prix (formally the LIII Grand Prix de Monaco) was a Formula One motor race held on May 28, 1995 at the Circuit de Monaco, Monte Carlo, Monaco. It was the fifth round of the 1995 Formula One season. The race, contested over 78 laps, was won by Michael Schumacher for the Benetton team after starting from second position.
Moneghetti
Moneghetti is a north central residential district and tourist area; part of the traditional Quartier of La Condamine in the Principality of Monaco. However, some observe Moneghetti as an effective fifth Quartier of the Monaco, having a very distinct atmosphere and topography when compared with low-lying La Condamine. It is also one of the ten modern administrative Wards of Monaco.
Saint Roman, Monaco
Saint Roman may refer to Saint Romanos the Melode, and Saint Boris, brother of Saint David of Muscovy and son of Saint Vladimir. Saint Roman (La Rousse/Saint Roman) is a northernmost community in the Principality of Monaco. It is a ward of Monaco, and a former subdivision of the traditional quartier of Monte Carlo. Today the ward is a mostly residential community.
Port Hercules
Port Hercules (Port Hercule) is the only deep-water port in Monaco. The port has been in use since ancient times. The modern port was completed in 1926, and underwent substantial improvements in the 1970s. It covers almost 40 acres, enough to provide anchorage for up to 700 vessels. The port is located in the La Condamine district. Harbour pilots are required for all vessels longer than 30 metres.
Musée National de Monaco
The Musée National de Monaco is a doll museum in the principality of Monaco. The museum's collection of dolls and automatons were made in Paris in the second half of the 19th century. The dolls are presented in show cases with suitably scaled period furniture, chinaware and other objects. Admission is 6 euros per adult and 4 euros per child.
2006 Monaco Grand Prix
The 2006 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held on May 28, 2006 at the Circuit de Monaco. The race, contested over 78 laps, was the seventh round of the 2006 Formula One season. Prior to the race, Renault's Fernando Alonso had finished on the podium in all of the previous six Grands Prix, winning three of those races. His main championship rival, Michael Schumacher was looking to win the race as it would equal Ayrton Senna's record at Monaco for most wins (six).

2007 Monaco Grand Prix
The 2007 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race and was the fifth round of the 2007 Formula One season. It took place from 24–27 May at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo. The race itself commenced at 14:00 CET, Sunday, 27 May, and lasted about 1 hour and 40 minutes. It was won by Fernando Alonso in a McLaren.

Monte Carlo Casino
The Monte Carlo Casino is a gambling and entertainment complex located in Monte Carlo, Monaco. It includes a casino, the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, and the office of Les Ballets de Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo Casino is owned and operated by the Société des bains de mer de Monaco, a public company in which the Monaco government and the ruling family have a majority interest. The company also owns the principal hotels, sports clubs, foodservice establishments, and nightclubs throughout Monaco.
2008 Monaco Grand Prix
The 2008 Monaco Grand Prix (formally the LXVI Grand Prix de Monaco) was a Formula One motor race held on May 25, 2008, at the Circuit de Monaco; contested over 76 laps, it was the sixth race of the 2008 Formula One season. The race was won by the season's eventual Drivers' Champion, Lewis Hamilton, for the McLaren team. BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica finished second, and Felipe Massa, who started from pole position, was third in a Ferrari. Conditions were wet at the start of the race.

The Bibliothèque Louis Notari is a library in Monaco. It is the legal deposit and copyright library for Monaco since 1925. It has more than 400,000 books. It is named for Monegasque writer Louis Notari.
2009 Monaco Grand Prix
The 2009 Monaco Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race that was held on the 24 May 2009 at the Circuit de Monaco, in Monaco. The race, which was contested over 78 laps, was the sixth round of the 2009 Formula One season. It was won by Brawn GP driver Jenson Button, with his team-mate Rubens Barrichello second, and Ferrari's Kimi Räikkönen third. This year a peace and sport initiative was introduced on this Grand Prix under the High Patronage of Albert II, Prince of Monaco.
Sainte-Dévote Chapel
Sainte-Dévote Chapel (French: Chapelle Sainte Dévote) is a Roman Catholic chapel dedicated to Saint Devota, the patron saint of Monaco. The chapel was first mentioned in archived documents dated 1070, built against the wall of Vallon des Gaumates, on the space now occupied by the Chapel of Relics. It was restored in the 16th century. In 1606, Prince Honoré II added a span, followed by a porch in 1637.

Located in Monte Carlo, Monaco, the American College of Monaco, offering a four year degree program, was reportedly established by the Principality at the request of Princess Grace. It existed in the 1960s and 1970's, and held classes in the Hotel Hermitage behind the Hotel de Paris, and the famous Monte Carlo Casino during its first academic year. After that, the school relocated to the Hotel Splendid, on the border of Beausoleil, France.
