It is located off the Khairatabad - Panjagutta road. Built in the Indo-European Baroque style of architecture, during its heyday the palace had over 150 rooms furnished with Louis XVI furniture, nine hole golf course, polo ground, stable for horses and a dairy farm.
Nizamia observatory
Nizamia observatory is a Space observatory, which was established in 1907 during the reign of the Nizams of Hyderabad state. Its founder was an England-educated rich noble man Nawab Zafar Yar Jung Bahadur, the youngest son of Sir Khursheed Jah Bahadur, who was the minister for defence in the Nizam's government. Taken over by the government in 1907, the observatory for years worked on an ambitious programme of photographing and charting a large segment of the sky.
