Mangalore
Mangalore Listen/ˈmæŋɡəlɔr/ is the chief port city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located about 350 kilometres west of the state capital, Bangalore. Mangalore lies between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghat mountain ranges, and is the administrative headquarters of the Dakshina Kannada district in south western Karnataka. Mangalore derives its name from the local Hindu Goddess Mangaladevi. It developed as a port on the Arabian Sea—remaining, to this day, a major port of India.
Kadri Park
Kadri Park is a garden, 5 km from the city near AIR studios. It is located in Kadri gudde (meaning hill in Tulu). It's the largest park within city limits of Mangalore. The park has beautifully laid gardens along with a Snake Park, zoo and a toy train. Its a nice hangout place/picnic spot for children, couples, young & old. There's another park called Pilikula Nisargadhama in Vamanjur about 10 km from the city which is bigger in size.
Kadri Manjunath Temple

Karnataka Theological College
Karnataka Theological College is an ecumenical seminary catering to the Kannada-speaking students wishing to pursue the priestly vocation. KTC is located in Mangalore of Karnataka in South India, and is affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College (University). Air India Express Flight 812 was a scheduled passenger service from Dubai to Mangalore which at around 01:00 UTC on 22 May 2010, overshot the runway on landing, fell over a cliff and caught fire, spreading wreckage across the surrounding hillside. Of the 160 passengers and six crew members on board, only eight passengers survived.
