Allerød Municipality
Allerød Kommune is a municipality on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 67 km², and has a total population of 23,493 (2008). Its mayor is Erik Lund, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party.
Birkerød station
Birkerød station is the railway station in Birkerød north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is served by S-trains on the Hillerød radial. The railway station was built in 1864 and the first S-trains were used in 1968. When built, the railroad station was situated a bit outside Birkerød. The reason for this was that it had to be situated on a hill to make it easier to get the trains started again after stopping. But today, Birkerød has grown a lot, so it is now located in the centre of the city.
Allerød station
Allerød station is the railway station in Allerød north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is served by S-trains on the Hillerød radial. Originally it was named Lillerød, but the name was changed in 1952 to prevent confusion with nearby Hillerød.
Høvelte station
Høvelte is a halt on the S-tog route E. The halt is located between Birkerød station and Allerød station. The halt, primarily serves Høvelte Barracks. There is only one station platform by the northbound track. Only the five first trains in the morning and the five last trains in the night will stop (at request). On Sundays and in holidays it is the last eleven. Maintenance is done by Høvelte Barracks. The name Høvelte relatively new. It was invented in the 1930s. The former name was Luserød.
Lillerød
Lillerød (sometimes named Allerød) is a Danish town, seat of the Allerød Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. Its population 1 January 2011 was of 15,775.
Center Sandholm
The Institution of asylum seekers in detention in Sandholm camp also called Center Sandholm or Sandholm is a former military barrack, which also is Denmark's largest reception center. The center is located north of Blovstrød in North Zealand. The center is operated by the Danish Red Cross. It serves as both a receiving and departure center, both for newly arrived asylum seekers and asylum seekers who have been definitively rejected and must go home.
