Fredensborg-Humlebæk Municipality
Until January 1, 2007, Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune was a municipality on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 72 km², and had a total population of 20,024 (2005). Its last mayor was John Hemming, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The site of its municipal council was in Fredensborg.

Karlebo Kommune was until January 1, 2007 a municipality in Frederiksborg County on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 40 km², and had a total population of 19,163 (2005). Its last mayor was Olav Aaen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Kokkedal.

The municipality was created on 1 January 2007, in a merger of the former municipalities of Karlebo Kommune and Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune.

The Fredensborg Houses form a housing complex in natural surroundings on the outskirts of the small town of Fredensborg in the north of Zealand, Denmark. The houses were designed by Jørn Utzon for Danes who have worked for long periods abroad.
