Whistler Mountain
Whistler Mountain is a mountain in the Fitzsimmons Range of the Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains, located on the northwestern edge of Garibaldi Provincial Park. It is the location of the Whistler-Blackcomb ski resort and the town of Whistler, British Columbia. The original name of the mountain was London Mountain, named after a mining claim in the area.
Alta Lake (British Columbia)
Alta Lake is a lake in the Resort Municipality of Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Originally named Summit Lake, Alta Lake was renamed to avoid confusion with the many other Summit Lakes in British Columbia. The name is derived from the Spanish for "high up" or "upper". The lake's southern end is the divide between the basins of the Green and Cheakamus Rivers.
Whistler Transit System
Whistler Transit Ltd. , a division of Pacific Western Transportation, operates the public transit service in Whistler and the Pemberton Valley area of British Columbia, Canada. Buses operate every day between 5:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. and are equipped with racks for skis or bikes, depending on the season. Funding for the Whistler Transit System is shared between the Resort Municipality of Whistler and BC Transit.
CKEE-FM
CKEE-FM (identified on air and in print as 101.5 Whistler FM) is a new Canadian radio station, that will have Hot AC/CHR format at 101.5 MHz in Whistler, British Columbia. Owned by Four Senses Entertainment Inc. , the station was licenced by the CRTC on March 2, 2009. On Feberary 25, 2013, CKEE start it's testing signal and claimed it will become the first “all local” voice in Whistler.
Whistler railway station
Whistler railway station is located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada along former BC Rail and before that Pacific Great Eastern Railway (PGE) lines. The tracks are now owned by Canadian National. Two trains call at the station, the Rainforest to Gold Rush provides service from Whistler Station to Quesnel railway station and Jasper railway station. The Whistler Sea to Sky Climb connects North Vancouver railway station to Whistler.
