Milton, Washington
Milton is a city in King and Pierce counties in the U.S. state of Washington. The population was 6,968 at the 2010 census. Milton borders the larger but younger town of Edgewood. Milton is the hometown of Jeremy Wuitschick, a 13-year-old pupil who took control of and stopped a school bus in 2012 when its driver appeared to become unresponsive.
Todd Beamer High School
Todd Beamer High School is a four year secondary school located in Federal Way, Washington within the Federal Way School District. The school was built in 2003 and was named after Todd Morgan Beamer, a passenger aboard United Airlines Flight 93 during the September 11, 2001 attacks. He was one of the passengers who attempted to foil the hijacking and reclaim the aircraft, which crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The school was opened in September 2003.

Illahee Middle School

Federal Way Public Academy
Federal Way Public Academy is a co-educational college preparatory school for day students in grades 6-10. The school is located in Federal Way, Washington, 24.6 miles from Seattle, Washington. The school was founded by Dr. Ray Griffin in 1999 with the district leadership of Tom Vander Ark (the Federal Way Public Schools superintendent at the time) and assistant superintendent Carla Jackson. The school was approved by the Federal Way school board to open in 1998 by a 3-2 vote.
