The Edward Jones Dome (more formally known as the Edward Jones Dome at America's Center, and previously known as The Trans World Dome is a multi-purpose stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, and home of the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. Columbus Square, St. Louis
Columbus Square is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. It is bounded by Cass Avenue to the north, I-70 to the east, Tucker & North 13th Streets to the west, and Cole Street to the south. Columbus Square was settled by successive waves of immigrants. The first wave, a group of German Catholics, settled in the vicinity of 11th and Biddle Streets. Later, the first Irish immigrants colonized the land around 6th and Biddle, an area that subsequently became St. Patrick's parish.
Cochran Gardens
Cochran Gardens was a public housing complex on the near north side of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Constructed in 1952 and occupied until 2006, it was famous for its residents' innovative form of tenant-led management. In 1976, Cochran Gardens became one of the first U.S. housing projects to have tenant management. Built by the same firm, Leinweber, Yamasaki & Hellmuth, as the infamous Pruitt–Igoe complex, Cochran Gardens was more successful than its ill-fated sister project.
World Aquarium
The World Aquarium is an interactive animal exhibition and rehabilitation center located within the City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. Some highlights of the exhibition are a crawl-through shark tunnel and ray touch tank. Fees to enter the aquarium are $18. The aquarium houses a variety of animals such as sharks, rays, sea turtles, parrots, marsh turtles, otters, snakes, alligators and sloths. Many of the animals on display are subject to guest interaction such as petting and feeding.
Missouri Athletic Club
The Missouri Athletic Club (often referred to as the MAC), founded in 1903, is a traditional gentlemen's club and athletic club in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri, USA, with a separate athletic campus in the St. Louis County suburb of Town and Country. The MAC awards the annual Hermann Trophy, the highest award in American college soccer. Notable members have included President Harry S. Truman, Charles Lindbergh, and Alan Shepard. The American Legion was organized there in 1919.
