Sauget, Illinois
Sauget is a village in St. Clair County, Illinois, United States. It is part of Greater St. Louis. The population was 249 at the 2000 census.
USS Inaugural (AM-242)
USS Inaugural (AM-242) was an Admirable-class fleet minesweeper. The Admirable class was the largest and one of the most successful classes of U.S. minesweepers ordered during World War II. Inaugural was launched on 1 October 1944, and was commissioned on 30 December, with Lieutenant John H. Pace USNR in command. The ship was decommissioned in 1946 and set up as a museum ship in St. Louis, Missouri in 1968.

Poplar Street Bridge
The Poplar Street Bridge, officially the Bernard F. Dickmann Bridge, completed in 1967, is a 647-foot long deck girder bridge across the Mississippi River between St. Louis, Missouri and East St. Louis, Illinois. The bridge arrives on the Missouri shore line just south of the Gateway Arch. Planned just before construction of the Arch, the builders in 1959 were to request that 25 acres of the Gateway Arch property be turned over from the National Park Service for the bridge.
MacArthur Bridge (St. Louis)
The MacArthur Bridge over the Mississippi River between St. Louis, Missouri and East St. Louis, Illinois is a 647 foot (197 m) long truss bridge. Construction on the bridge was begun in 1909 by the city of St. Louis to break the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis's monopoly on the area's railroad traffic. Money ran out before the bridge approaches could be finished, however, and the bridge did not open until 1917, and then only to automobile traffic.

Lift For Life Academy is a middle and high school founded in 1998 by Marshall Cohen. It was the first charter school in St. Louis, Missouri. The idea for the Academy grew out of Cohen's other nonprofit organization, Lift For Life Gym which was once a garage, an after-school center for at-risk children located on the north side of St. Louis, 14th & Cass.
LaSalle Park
LaSalle Park is an integral part of the three-neighborhood "Old Frenchtown" area—LaSalle Park, Lafayette Square and Soulard—bordering the southern edge of downtown St. Louis. It was formed as a "new" neighborhood, legally distinct from the larger Soulard district, through the efforts of local company Ralston Purina, which has its world headquarters in LaSalle Park, and the city of St. Louis, Missouri. LaSalle Park contains a mixture of Victorian and Federalist architecture.

Kosciusko is a mostly non-residential neighborhood located in St. Louis, Missouri. It begins at the Mississippi River front in the east and goes up to 7th Boulevard and 8th Street in the west. Interstate 55 is a northern border, and St. George and Dorcas Streets border the south of this neighborhood. Kosciusko is named in honor of Tadeusz Kościuszko, an American Revolutionary war general of Polish–Lithuanian descent.
