Grandview Triangle

The 3-Trails Crossing Memorial Highway is the official name for a highway interchange in south Kansas City, Missouri that was once considered one of Missouri's most congested locations. From the nickname, it may be assumed to be located in Grandview, Missouri, but it is actually north of Grandview, still within the limits of Kansas City.

The Bannister Federal Complex is a United States federal government complex located at 1500 E. Bannister Road in Kansas City, Missouri. The 310-acre complex consists of 10 buildings located at the corner of Troost Avenue and Bannister Road. The complex is occupied primarily by the General Services Administration and the Department of Energy. It is currently slated for closure by 2014.

Fairyland Park

Fairyland Park was an amusement park, located at 7501 Prospect Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri. The park operated from 1923 to 1977, at which time it was closed due to lack of attendance to the park and storm damage in late 1977. The park was bought by the Brancato family in 1944. The park was segregated until 1964, when blacks were first allowed to attend the park. Admission to blacks came only after protest marches, demonstrations and arrests for blocking the entrance.
