St. Joseph, Missouri
St. Joseph (informally St. Joe) is a city in and the county seat of Buchanan County, Missouri, United States. It is the principal city of the St. Joseph Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Buchanan, Andrew, and DeKalb counties in Missouri and Doniphan County, Kansas. As of the 2010 census, St. Joseph had a total population of 76,780, making it the eighth largest city in the state, third largest in Northwest Missouri. The Pony Express Museum is a transport museum in Saint Joseph, Missouri, documenting the history of the Pony Express, the first fast mail line across the North American continent from the Missouri River to the Pacific coast. The museum is housed in a surviving portion of the Pikes Peak Stables, from which westward-bound Pony Express riders set out on their journey.

Townsend & Wall (officially known as Townsend, Wyatt and Wall) at 602 Francis Street was the principal department store in downtown St. Joseph, Missouri from 1866 to 1983. It is listed as a contributing building to the St. Joseph Commerce and Banking Historic District which is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also a prominent building in the Historic Retail District Felix Street Corridor in the master plan for St.
Mount Mora Cemetery
Mount Mora Cemetery is the oldest public cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri. Among those who are buried in the cemetery are three governors, a U.S. senator, soldiers from both sides in the American Civil War and riders of the Pony Express. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July 2006. In October 2006, several headstones including that of Missouri governor Silas Woodson were damaged by vandals.

The St. Joseph Civic Arena is a 3,800-seat multi-purpose arena built in 1980 in St. Joseph, Missouri USA. It is used mainly to host indoor sporting events, such as basketball, arena football and National Bull Riding Finals. It has hosted two American Professional Football League franchises, the St. Joseph Explorers in 2003 and the St. Joseph Storm in 2005. It hosted the NCAA Women's Division II Basketball Championship in 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2011.

St. Joseph Transit provides local public transportation, as a division of the Public Works and Transportation Department of the City of St. Joseph in Buchanan County, Missouri. Eight routes, operating under the brand "The Ride", provide regular Monday through Saturday service. In addition, "Night Ride" provides late night and Sunday flex service to workers with unconventional shifts.
