Monticello Township, Johnson County, Kansas
Monticello Township is a former township in northwest Johnson County, Kansas. It is now merged with Lenexa and Shawnee, Kansas.
Area code 913
Area Code 913 is the area code for telephone exchanges located in the Kansas portion of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Prior to July 20, 1997, 913 covered all of northern Kansas from the Colorado state line to the Missouri state line. The area code is now only used by a few counties bordering Missouri.
Interstate 435 Bridge
The Interstate 435 Bridge is a girder bridge crossing of the Kansas River. It carries six lanes of Interstate 435, three south, three north. It also crosses the Union Pacific railroad tracks at the north side, and the BNSF railway at the south. It also has a poor condition deck, as it is worn out, and needs replacement.
