Lenexa, Kansas
Lenexa /lɨˈnɛksə/ is a city in the central part of Johnson County, located in northeast Kansas, in the central United States of America. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 48,190. Lenexa is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is bordered by the cities of Shawnee to the north, Overland Park to the east, De Soto to the west and Olathe to the south.
Johnson County Community College
Johnson County Community College (JCCC) is a 234-acre community college located in Overland Park, Kansas at College Boulevard and Quivira Road. With more than 37,000 credit and continuing education students, JCCC is the largest undergraduate institution of higher education in the state of Kansas.
California Trail Middle School
California Trail Middle School is located in Olathe, Kansas, one of nine middle schools in the Olathe Public Schools Unified School District (USD) 233. It is the largest middle school in the district. The school's mascot is a bulldog, and colors are black and gold. Their traditional rivals are the Pioneer Trail Panthers and the Frontier Trail Jaguars. The feeder elementary schools are Bentwood, Pleasant Ridge, Regency Place, and Heatherstone, (which also feeds into Pioneer Trail middle school).

Pioneer Trail Middle School is one of the eight middle schools in Olathe, Kansas. The school opened in August 1986 and serves a diverse population. Its graduates go to Olathe East High School along with California Trail Middle School and Frontier Trail Middle School graduates, though students do have the choice of attending 1 of the other 3 Olathe High Schools too. Pioneer Trail traditionally has a rivalry with California Trail.

University of Kansas Edwards Campus
The University of Kansas Edwards Campus is the University of Kansas’ permanent presence in the most populated and prosperous county in the state of Kansas. It is located at 12600 Quivira Road on the northwest corner of 127th Street and Quivira in Overland Park, Kan. More than 2,000 students enroll for classes and about 250 KU faculty members teach courses at the Edwards Campus each semester.
Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art
The Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art is an art museum that is located on the campus and is a department of Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. The museum is named for donors and local art collectors Jerry and Margaret Nerman. It opened in October 2007, succeeding the college's former Gallery of Art. The building was designed by Ho-Am Prize-winning Korean architect Kyu Sung Woo. General admission to the Nerman is free to the public.
