National Cheng Kung University
National Cheng Kung University is a research-led comprehensive university in Tainan City, Taiwan. Its abbreviation is NCKU. In Chinese, its name is shortened to 成大 (Chéng Dà). Cheng Kung is named after Zheng Ch'eng-Kung, who defeated the Dutch and founded the Kingdom of Tungning in Taiwan. NCKU is one of the most prestigious universities in Taiwan, with a high reputation in science, engineering, medicine, management, planning and design.

Fort Provintia

The fort was surrendered to Koxinga. Since 1945 the site has been known as Chihkan Tower (赤崁樓), which derives from the Taiwanese aboriginal village name recorded by the Dutch as variants of "Chaccam," "Sakam," "Zaccam," etc.
Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium
Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium in Tainan City, Taiwan. Situated in the southern district of Tainan City, it is currently used mostly for professional baseball games, and has been the home stadium of Uni-President Lions since 1990.

Temple of the Five Concubines
The Temple of the Five Concubines (五妃廟), known also by alternative names including the Temple of the Five Noble Ladies, is a temple in Tainan, Taiwan. It was built in front of the tomb of the five concubines of Zhu Shugui, the Ming Prince of Ningjing, who killed themselves in 1683 to accompany him in death. It is registered as a first-class historic site by the Republic of China government.

THSR Tainan Station
THSR Tainan Station (高鐵台南站) is a Taiwan High Speed Rail station located in Guiren District, Tainan City, Taiwan. Besides the usual bus connections, passengers can transfer to the TRA Shalun Line for local train rides to downtown Tainan and several other stops in the greater Tainan area.

Yongkang District
Yongkang District was formerly the largest city of Tainan County (until Tainan County's merger with Tainan City) and now is a district of the new municipality of Tainan. It lies in the southern west of Taiwan. Due to the development of manufacturing and food-processing industries, Yongkang has become a migrant city since the 1970s, attracting many people from neighboring cities who now work and live in the city.
1946 Hsinhua earthquake
The 1946 Hsinhua earthquake, also referred to as the 1946 Tainan earthquake was a magnitude 6.1 earthquake which hit Tainan County (now part of Tainan City), Taiwan, on December 5, 1946 at 06:47. The quake claimed 74 lives and was the eighth deadliest earthquake in twentieth century Taiwan.

Shalun Station is a railway station which opened on January 2, 2011. It is operated by the Taiwan Railway Administration and is a terminal station on the Shalun Line, located in Guiren District, Tainan City, Taiwan. It connects to the THSR Tainan Station.
Tainan Wu Garden
Wu Garden(吳園), known at the time of its creation as "Purple Spring Garden (紫春園)," is located in Zhongxi District, Tainan, Taiwan (once part of Tainan 's Pang-kiô-thâu area). Built during the reign of the Daoguang Emperor, by local gentleman Wu Shangxin (吳尚新), it is included among Wufeng Lin Family Mansion and Garden (霧峰萊園), Hsinchu Beiguo Garden (新竹北郭園), and Banqiao Lin Family Mansion and Garden (板橋林本源園邸) as the Four Great Gardens of Taiwan (台灣四大名園).
