National Cheng Kung University

National Cheng Kung University is a research-led comprehensive university in Tainan City, Taiwan. Its abbreviation is NCKU. In Chinese, its name is shortened to 成大 (Chéng Dà). Cheng Kung is named after Zheng Ch'eng-Kung, who defeated the Dutch and founded the Kingdom of Tungning in Taiwan. Fort Provintia

The fort was surrendered to Koxinga. Since 1945 the site has been known as Chihkan Tower (赤崁樓), which derives from the Taiwanese aboriginal village name recorded by the Dutch as variants of "Chaccam," "Sakam," "Zaccam," etc.

Tainan Station

Wu Garden(吳園), known at the time of its creation as "Purple Spring Garden (紫春園)," is located in Zhongxi District, Tainan, Taiwan (once part of Tainan 's Pang-kiô-thâu area).
