The Badu Station(八堵車站) is a railway station of Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) Western Line, Yilan Line located at Keelung City, Taiwan.
Xizhi District
Xizhi is an inner city district in New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. In the past, the Xizhi area was the Kypanas locality (峰仔峙社) of the Ketagalan Taiwanese aborigines. The old name in Chinese refers to the fact that the tide from the Keelung River stops at Xizhi and goes back to the sea. During the Japanese rule, the place name was changed to 汐止 (shiodome, literally "end of tides"), which is the source of the current name.
