Teresa Teng was a Taiwanese pop singer. Teng's voice and songs are instantly recognized throughout East Asia and in areas with large Asian populations. Yangmingshan

One of the eight national parks in Taiwan, the Yangmingshan National Park is located between Taipei City and New Taipei City, Taiwan. The districts that house parts of the park grounds include Taipei's Beitou and Shilin Districts; and New Taipei's Wanli, Jinshan, and Sanzhi Districts. During the Japanese occupation era of Taiwan, it was known as Datun National Park.

Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf

Its predecessor was the "Tamsui Second Fishing Port" on the right bank of the Tamsui river estuary, an important fishing harbor in the early history of north Taiwan. The Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is well known by its beautiful sunset and fresh seafood. While having sightseeing and leisure facilities, it still holds its functionality as a harbor for fishing boats.

Grass Mountain Chateau

The Grass Mountain Chateau (蔣公草山行館) is a former residence of late President of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai-shek (蔣介石). It is located in Taipei City, Taiwan, Republic of China in the Yangmingshan National Park. The residence was constructed in 1920 by the Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Emperor Hirohito of Japan personally visited the residence and stayed there for 1 hour and 50 minutes, according to historical records.

Chin Pao San

Chin Pao San is a private cemetery located on a mountainside near Jinshan in New Taipei City, northern Taiwan. The site overlooks the Ju Ming Museum and, beyond it, the East China Sea. Urns at Jinbaoshan are placed both indoors and outdoors. The site is accessible to visitors in wheelchairs. Chin Pao San is famous for its abundant art.

Tamsui River

The Tamsui River is a river in northern Taiwan. It begins at the confluence of Xindian Creek and Dahan Creek at the western boundary of Taipei and New Taipei City, just north of Banqiao District, and flows northward and northwestward nad empties into the Taiwan Strait. The river's three tributaries are Xindian Creek, Dahan Creek, and Keelung River.

Qixing Mountain (Taipei)

Qixing Mountain or Cising Mountain is located on the Datun Volcano Group and is the highest mountain at the rim of Taipei City and Taipei Basin. It is also the highest (dormant) volcano in Taiwan. It located in the center of Yangmingshan National Park and its main peak is 1,120 metres above sea level. It began erupting about 700,000 years ago. There was a crater at the peak but it became seven small peaks due to post-eruption erosion.

Tatun Volcano Group

Tatun Volcanoes, a volcanic group of volcanoes located at northern Taiwan, is located 15 km north of Taipei, and lies to the west of Keelung. It just adjoins the northern coast of the Taiwan island. The volcano group was a result of episodic volcanisms between 2.8 and 0.2 Ma. As of 2005, some hydrothermal activities and gas fumaroles were active among these volcanoes. Observations on Tatun Volcano Group suggest that magma chambers probably still exist under the land surface of northern Taiwan.

Chung-Shan Building

The Chung-Shan Building is part of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall complex. Completed in 1966, the building is located in the Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei. The building is placed on the reverse of the 100 New Taiwan Dollar bill. The building serves as a location for hosting ceremonies by the President of the Republic of China for state visits, conferences and was off limits to the general public until 2005.

Tamsui District

Tamsui District (淡水區, formerly Danshui District and Tamshui Township) is a sea-side district in New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. It is named after the Tamsui River; the name means "fresh water". The town is popular as a site for viewing the sun setting into the Taiwan Strait. Though modest in size (population 130,105), the district is home to three universities and has a large role in Taiwanese culture.

Zhongxing Guesthouse

The Zhongxing Guesthouse also known as the Yangmingshuwu is a historical site located in on Zhongxing road in Yangmingshan National Park in the Beitou District of Taipei, Taiwan. It was constructed between 1969 and 1970 by late Republic of China President Chiang Kai-Shek for reception of important foreign guests and to act as a summer residence.
