Wanhua District
Wanhua District, known in Taiwanese as Bangka a.k.a. Monga, is Taipei City's oldest district. The district is home to historic buildings such as Longshan Temple, an historic temple, and the Red House Theater, the first and largest teahouse and playhouse in Taiwan. Taipei's oldest, but decaying, garment district is also here.
Mengjia Longshan Temple
Mengjia Longshan Temple was built in Taipei in 1738 by settlers from Fujian, China. It served as a place of worship and a gathering place for the Chinese settlers. The temple has been destroyed either in full or in part on numerous earthquakes and fires. During World War II, on 31 May 1945 it was hit by American bombers during the Raid on Taipei, who claimed the Japanese were hiding armaments inside.

Banqiao Stadium
Banqiao Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Banqiao District, New Taipei City. It is administered by the New Taipei City Government. It consists of several parts, of which the Banqiao First Sports Ground is able to hold 30,000 people and was opened in 1987. It is currently used mostly for football matches. In recent years, it has also been used for outdoor concerts. Guns N' Roses kicked off their 2009-2011 World Tour at the stadium on December 11, 2009.
Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium
Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is currently mostly used for CPBL baseball games. The stadium can hold 12,500 people and was opened in 1997.
Red House Theater
The Red House Theater (紅樓劇場), often called the Red Theater or Red Play House in English, is a historic theater in the Ximending area of Taipei, Taiwan. Built in 1908 during Japanese rule and designed by Japanese architect Kondo Juro, it was originally a market building but was used as a theater from 1945 onwards. The building recently underwent an extensive renovation.
Qingshui Temple
Qingshui Temple also known as Tsushih Temple or the "Divine Progenitors Temple" is a temple in dedicated to the god Qingshui Zushi, a Northern Song Dynasty Buddhist monk who is said to have saved a town from a drought. The temple is located in the Wanhua District of Taipei City, Taiwan and was constructed in 1787 CE. In 1958, the temple was renovated and restored. The temple is often called "the most characteristic example of mid-Qing temple architecture."
National Museum of History
The National Museum of History (NMH) is located in the Nanhai Academy in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan and exhibits Chinese historical items. After the Republic of China government moved to Taiwan, the National Museum of History was the first museum established.
Nanshijiao Station
The Taipei Metro Nanshijiao Station is the southern terminus of the Zhonghe Line (part of the Orange Line) located in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It is built on the site of the old Zhonghe Railway Station, which ceased operations in 1990.
Jingan Station
The Taipei Metro Jing'an Station (also written Jing-an) is a station on the Zhonghe Line (part of the Orange Line) located in Zhonghe District, New Taipei, Taiwan. When the Circular Line opens in 2015, Jing'an will become a transfer station with that line.

Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School
Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School (Chinese: 臺北市立建國高級中學, JGHS; formerly Chien Kuo in the Wade-Giles transliteration instead of Pinyin) is a high school for boys, which is located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan. The school was established in 1898 during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, and was the Taipei First High School, the first public high school in Taiwanese history.
Banqiao District
Banqiao District is the city seat of New Taipei in northern Taiwan. It has the third highest population density in Taiwan. It was formerly the 22nd densest city in the world, with over 24,000 people per square km. Until the December 25, 2010 creation of New Taipei, Banqiao was itself a city and the former seat of Taipei County.
Banqiao Station
Banqiao Station (板橋車站) is a railway station located in Banqiao District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The station serves high-speed rail, conventional rail, and metro trains. All tracks and platforms in the station are located underground. The new station building opened on July 19, 1999 for TRA trains, May 31, 2006 for the Taipei Metro, and on January 5, 2007 for Taiwan High Speed Rail. The station currently handles over 106,000 passengers per day.
Taiwan Education Association Building
The original Taiwan Education Association Building (原臺灣教育會館) was built in 1931 and originally housed exhibits of educational achievements in Taiwan, and served as a venue for regular gatherings. It is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Its design was directed by Ide Kaoru, the chief of the Japanese colonial government's civil engineering section, and was thus quite similar to that of the Taipei Assembly Hall.
Taipei Botanical Garden
The Taipei Botanical Garden is located in the Nanhai Academy on Nanhai Road in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The Botanical Garden covers an area of about 15 hectares and includes over 1500 plant species.

National Education Radio
National Education Radio is a government owned radio station in the Republic of China. It was founded in 1960 and is located in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei City, Taiwan next to the Taipei Botanical Garden and National Museum of History. The Headquarters building has been a registered historic landmark since 2009.
Red Envelope Club
A Red Envelope Club is a form of Cabaret in Taiwan that originated in Taipei in the 1960s as an imitation of Shanghai Cabaret. In these cabarets, female singers sing old Chinese songs from the 1920s to 1950s to mostly older men, many of whom were soldiers in General Chiang Kai-Shek's Kuomintang army that fled Mainland China after the Chinese Civil War. The cabarets get their name from the fact that the audience gives the singers, who they appreciate, money in red envelopes.
Lin Family Mansion and Garden
The Lin Ben Yuan Family Mansion and Garden (林本源園邸) in Banqiao District, New Taipei City was a residence built by the Lin Ben Yuan Family, of Banqiao, Taiwan. It is Taiwan's most-complete surviving example of traditional Chinese garden architecture. It is also known as the Lin Family Gardens.
