Hägersten (borough)
Hägersten was a borough (stadsdelsområde) in the southern part of Stockholm, Sweden until January 1, 2007 when it was merged with Liljeholmen borough to form the Hägersten-Liljeholmen district. The other districts that made up the borough were Fruängen, Hägerstensåsen, Mälarhöjden and Västertorp.
Gröndal
Gröndal is also the official Swedish name for the Viherlaakso district in the Finnish city of Espoo. Gröndal is a district in South Stockholm, organized into Liljeholmen borough. The name Gröndal means Green Dale or Green Valley. Gröndal developed as a working class and industrial suburb after the opening of Liljeholmen freight station in the 1860s.

Lilla Essingen
Lilla Essingen is a small island in central Stockholm, Sweden, next to the larger neighbouring island Stora Essingen. The Essingeleden motorway, part of the Europe-spanning E4, passing over both islands is named after them.

Telefonplan metro station
Telefonplan ("Telephone Square") is the name of an underground subway station in the Stockholm Underground network in Sweden. The station is located in the borough of Hägersten. Unlike most of the stations lying nearby, namely among others Midsommarkransen and Hägerstensåsen, the station's name does not refer to any specific area or a specific suburb. Instead, the station's name refers to a small square situated just west of the station's main entrance.
Västertorp

Essingebron are two parallel bridges in central Stockholm, Sweden, inaugurated August 21, 1966, and September 3, 1967. Forming a section of the Essingeleden motorway they connect the two islands Stora Essingen and Lilla Essingen and are the most heavily trafficked bridges in Sweden.
Fredhällsbron
Fredhällsbron (Swedish: The Fredhäll Bridge) is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. It connects the island Lilla Essingen to Fredhäll, a district on the island Kungsholmen, and, forming a section of the Essingeleden motorway, connects the Lilla Essingen interchange to the tunnel Fredhällstunneln. The bridge is made of pre-stressed concrete cellular sections forming two parallel, separate roadways, each 270 metres long and 14,8 metres wide with horizontal clearances of 9 metres.
Gröndalsbron
Gröndalsbron (Swedish: The Gröndal bridge) are two bridges in central Stockholm, Sweden, connecting the island Stora Essingen to the southern mainland district Gröndal. The older bridge, inaugurated in 1967, forms a 460-metre section of the Essingeleden motorway, of which 260 metres constitute the bridge, divided into three pre-stressed concrete frames, 70, 120, and 70 metres in length.
Alviksbron
Alviksbron (Swedish for The Alvik Bridge) is a box girder bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Oxhålssundet, it connects Stora Essingen island to the western suburb Bromma. Built 1996-1998 by the Nordic Construction Company at a cost of 180 million SEK, it has served the Tvärbanan light rail line and pedestrians and bicyclists since its inauguration in August 2000. The name is derived from Alvik, originally a local manor house built in 1819 and demolished in 1930.

Stora Essingen is an island and a district in the Kungsholmen borough in Stockholm, Sweden. The Essingeleden motorway, part of European route E4, passes along a section of the eastern shore. The Tvärbanan light rail passes near the eastern shore and has one stop on the island.

Västberga helicopter robbery
The Västberga helicopter robbery occurred on 23 September 2009 at 05:15 CET when a G4S cash service depot was robbed in Västberga in southern Stockholm, Sweden. The robbers used a stolen Bell 206 Jet Ranger as transport and landed on the rooftop of the G4S building. The police were unable to use their own helicopters to pursue the robbers since decoy bombs had been placed close to them.
Essingen Islands
The Essingen Islands are a group of two islands—Stora Essingen and Lilla Essingen—in the Swedish lake of Mälaren, located southwest of Kungsholmen in Stockholm. On older maps, the islands are called Stora Hessingen and Lilla Hessingen. The islands were a part of the administrative Bromma Parish until 1916, when they were incorporated with the parish into Stockholm Municipality.
