Danderyd Municipality
Danderyd Municipality (Danderyds kommun) is a municipality just north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It is one of the smallest municipalities of Sweden, but the most affluent. Its seat is located in Djursholm. The "old" rural municipality Danderyd was split up during the early 20th century, when Djursholm and Stocksund broke away in 1901 and 1910 respectively. Since 1971 Danderyd Municipality is reunified in approximately the old boundaries.

Swedish Museum of Natural History
The Swedish Museum of Natural History (Swedish: Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, literally, the National Museum of Natural History), in Stockholm, is one of two major museums of natural history in Sweden, the other one being located in Gothenburg. The museum was founded in 1819 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, but goes back to the collections acquired mostly through donations by the Academy since its foundation in 1739. These collections had first been made available to the public in 1786.

Mörby Centrum was built in 1961 by the architects Fors & Son and has since then been expanded in several steps. It was converted into an indoor shopping mall in 1977.

Näsby Castle
Näsby Castle is a castle located in Täby municipality, north of Stockholm. Originally built in the 1660s and designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder, Näsby Castle is located in the picturesque and natural setting of Näsbyviken. The castle was burned to the ground in 1897, but was rebuilt according to the original design on the initiative of Carl Robert Lamm and Dora Lamm who moved into the castle in 1905. Parts of the old castle garden still exist and are well preserved.
Ålkistan
Ålkistan is the name of a canal, and the surrounding area, north of Stockholm, Sweden. The canal connects Lake Värtan to Lake Brunnsviken, and delimits Bergshamra, the northern part of Solna, from the northern part of Djurgården. The name Ålkistan first appears on a map of Djurgården dated 1649, pointing out Åhlekijstetorpet ("The Eel Hatch Cottage"), Åhlekijstebackan ("The Eel Hatch Hillside") and Åhlekijste wijken ("The Eel Hatch Bay").

Lappkärrsberget is a residential area in Norra Djurgården in central-eastern Stockholm, Sweden. Located just north of the Stockholm University, it is known for the approximately 2,000 student flats located there. It is known amongst students as Lappis . There is a tradition called Anxiety Scream (Ångestskriket) that takes place in the area every Tuesday at 10pm, where residents open their windows and scream for several minutes.

Through its location in the national city park Ekoparken, it is considered as a lake of great recreational value, especially popular among ornithologists and frequently used in classes at the University of Stockholm located nearby.

Djursholm Castle
Djursholm Castle (Djursholms slott) is a castle in Sweden. Djursholm is located in Danderyd Municipality, within Stockholm urban area. The castle includes building components from the late Middle Ages. It was the main building on the estate Djursholm, which was owned by the House of Banér from 1508-1813. Nils Eskilsson (Banér), who was lord of Djursholm 1508 to 1520, built a new palace at the place where Djursholm Castle remains.
Prinsvillan, Djursholm
Prinsvillan (the Prince Villa) is a villa on Germaniavägen 14 A in Djursholm by Ragnar Östberg. The villa was built 1907-1909 in the country mansion style typical of the turn of the 19th to 20th century. The villa was built to be the residence of Prince Erik, Duke of Västmanland (1889–1918), the youngest son of Gustaf V of Sweden, who suffered from epilepsy and lived a withdrawn life there until 1917.
Djursholms Ösby
Djursholms Ösby is a branch railway station on Roslagsbanan, a suburban commuter railway north of Stockholm in Sweden. It serves Ösby in Djursholm in Danderyd Municipality and is 6.6 km from Stockholm East Station. The station opened in 1890 when Djursholmsbanan line was inaugurated, at the site where this line branched off from the tracks to Rimbo, and was originally called Djursholm. From 1893 to 1920 the name of the station was Ösby and since then it has been Djursholms Ösby.
Stocksundet
Stocksundet is the water connecting Lilla Värtan with Edsviken, and is the border between Danderyd Municipality and Solna Municipality in Sweden. The sound is supposed to have received its name from the logs which used to be laid out in the water to stop invading ships in the early Middle Ages. This name then led to the name of Stocksund, on the north side of the sound, and to the heraldry shield of Stocksund Municipality 1955-1966.
Germania, Djursholm
Germania is the name of a part of Djursholm in Danderyd Municipality north of Stockholm. There is a small bay of Stora Värtan called Germaniaviken, a street called Germaniavägen and the park Germaniaparken. Until 1976 there was a railway stop called Germania at a part of Roslagsbanan which was closed that year. Djursholm was created as a garden town in the late 19th Century and streets and blocks were given names from ancient Norse mythology.
Djursholms Framnäsviken
Framnäsviken is the name of a small bay of Stora Värtan in Djursholm between the neighbourhoods Germania and Svalnäs. Until 1976 there was a railway station here called Djursholms Framnäsviken ("Framnäsviken of Djursholm") at Djursholmsbanan, a part of Roslagsbanan which was closed that day. The bridge and the old railway bank is now used for pedestrians and bicycles and for skiing in the winter time.
