Borlänge Municipality
Borlänge Municipality (Borlänge kommun) is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden, with an area of 586.4 km². The municipality has a population of 47,640 (2007). The municipal seat is Borlänge. The present municipality was created in 1971 when the City of Borlänge (itself instituted as a city in 1944) was reunited with the rural municipality of Stora Tuna, from which it had been detached in 1898.
Falun Municipality
Falun Municipality (Falu kommun) is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Falun. Falun is the second biggest city and provincial capital of Dalarna County. Falun was originally famous for its copper mine. The present municipality was formed at the time of the local government reform of 1971, when the City of Falun and six surrounding rural municipalities were amalgamated.
Dalregementet
Dalregementet (Dalarna Regiment), designations I 13 and I 13/Fo 53, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. It was disbanded in 2000. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the province of Dalarna, and it was later garrisoned there.

Domnarvsvallen
Domnarvsvallen is a football stadium in Borlänge Municipality, and the home arena for IK Brage and Dalkurd FF. Domnarvsvallen has a total capacity of 6,500 spectators. The arena is mostly in wood, and was built in 1925 when IK Brage was founded.

Soltorgsgymnasiet commonly referred to as Soltorg is a natural science and technology focused gymnasium in Borlänge. As of 2007 the school offers interdisciplinary focus of studies. Giving the students extensive freedom of choice of higher education. Since 2002 Soltorgsgymnasiet have had an exchange-agreement with Lycée Léon Bourgeois in Épernay for teacher and the students reading French and an exchange with a school in Magdeburg for the students reading German.

Dala Airport or Borlänge Airport is situated southeast of Borlänge, a city in the Dalarna province of Sweden. It is also 20 minutes from the city of Falun.
Great Copper Mountain
Great Copper Mountain was a mine in Falun, Sweden, that operated for a millennium from the 10th century to 1992. It produced as much as two thirds of Europe's copper needs and helped fund many of Sweden's wars in the 17th century. Technological developments at the mine had a profound influence on mining globally for two centuries. Since 2001 it has been designated a UNESCO world heritage site as well as a museum.
