Sibiu International Airport
Sibiu International Airport or Aeroportul Internațional Sibiu serves the historic city of Sibiu. It is located in southern Transylvania, 3 km west of Sibiu and about 260 km northwest of Romania's capital city, Bucharest. In 2006 - 2008, the airport passed through the most important rehabilitation program in its history, a 77 mil. € investment in a new terminal building and in runway upgrade.
Hârtibaciu River
The Hârtibaciu River is a river in the Transylvania historical region of Romania. It develops in the South Carpathians and flows into the Cibin River, a tributary of the Olt, near Boiţa. King Géza II of Hungary settled the initial Transylvanian Saxon colonists along the Hârtibaciu, referred to by them as the Harbach. The Saxons established many towns along the river such as Agnita with Kirchenburgen, or fortified churches.

Rășinari
Răşinari is a commune in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania. It has a population of 5,280 inhabitants (2011 census) and is composed of two villages, Prislop (Priszloptelep) and Răşinari. Răşinari is connected to Sibiu by a roughly 8-km tram line through the Dumbrava Forest. The trams that are used these days on the line were formerly used in Geneva and retain their French-language signs.

Brukenthal National Museum
The Brukenthal National Museum (Romanian: Muzeul Naţional Brukenthal) is a museum, erected in the late of 18th century in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania, housed in the palace of Samuel von Brukenthal — who was Habsburg governor of Transylvania and who established its first collections around 1790. The collections were officially opened to the public in 1817, making it the oldest institution of its kind in Romania.
Sibiu Lutheran Cathedral
The Lutheran Cathedral of Saint Mary is the most famous Gothic-style church in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania. Its massive 73.34 m high steeple is a landmark of the city. The four turrets situated on top of the steeple were a sign to let foreigners know that the town had the right to sentence to death.

In 2002, it had 2359 inhabitants, of whom 1298 Romanians, 1010 Roma, 50 Germans and 1 other. 2154 inhabitants were Romanian Orthodox, with most of the rest belonging to newer Protestant faiths (aside from 29 Lutherans). Germans were long dominant in Burgberg, founded in the 13th century. Most residents of the commune, governed by a mayor and a council, work in agriculture.
