Mamaia
Mamaia is a resort on the Romanian Black Sea shore, considered to be Romania's most popular resort. It is situated immediately north-east of Constanţa. Mamaia has almost no full-time residents, being populated mostly during the summer. Mamaia lies on a strip of land 8 km in length and only 300 m (328 yards) in width, between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol.
Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport
Mihail Kogălniceanu Airport is situated in south-east Romania, in the commune of Mihail Kogălniceanu, 14 NM north northwest of Constanţa. It is the main airport of Dobrogea region and it provides access to the Constanţa County, the Constanţa city port and Black Sea Romanian resorts. The airport's highest traffic capacity was reached in 1979, when the Romanian Riviera reached its highest number of foreign tourists; at that time CND served 778,766 passengers.

Trajan's Wall (Valul lui Traian in Romanian) is the name used for several linear earthen fortifications found across Eastern Europe, in Moldova, Romania, and Ukraine. Contrary to the name and popular belief, the ramparts were not built by Romans during Trajan's reign. Furthermore, the association with the Roman Emperor may be a recent scholarly invention, only entering the imagination of the locals with the national awakening of the 19th century.

Farul Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Constanţa, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the current home ground of Farul Constanţa. The stadium also functions as an athletics arena, with track and field athletics facilities. The stadium has played host to the Romania national football team, in the World Cup 2006 Qualification, UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying and 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification.
Lake Siutghiol
Siutghiol is a lagoon in Northern Dobruja, Romania. It extends over 20 km² and has a maximum depth of 18 m. In winter, up to 90% of its surface may be covered by ice.
German submarine U-24 (1936)
German submarine U-24 was a Type IIB U-boat that was in service during World War II. She was laid down on 21 April 1936 at the F. Krupp Germaniawerft in Kiel with yardnumber 554, launched on 24 September and commissioned into the Kriegsmarine on 10 October. Oberleutnant Heinz Bucholz took command on 3 July 1937.
German submarine U-18 (1935)
German submarine U-18 was a Type IIB U-boat of the Nazi German Kriegsmarine during World War II. It was laid down 10 July 1935 and commissioned on 4 January 1936. It served in many U-boat flotillas during its service.

German submarine U-9 (1935)
The German submarine U-9 was a Type IIB U-boat of the Nazi German Kriegsmarine. Her keel was laid down on 8 February 1935, by Germaniawerft in Kiel as 'werk' 543. She was launched on 30 July 1935 and commissioned on 21 August, with Korvettenkapitän Hans-Günther Looff in command. U-9 conducted 19 patrols under a series of commanders, including U-boat ace Wolfgang Lüth, sinking eight ships totalling 17,221 tons and damaging another displacing 412 tons.
RoAF 57th Air Base
The Romanian Air Force 57th Air Base (Baza 57 Aeriană) was an air base located near Constanţa, at the Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport. The base was disbanded in August 2004 due to the Romanian Armed Forces reorganisation program and the retirement of the MiG-29s which were based here. The military sector of the Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport is currently an annex of the 86th Air Base hosting the 863rd Helicopter Squadron.

Carol I Mosque
Carol I Mosque in Constanţa was commissioned in 1910 by the King of Romania and built in a Moorish style. It replaced the previous mosque from 1822. It is similar to the Konya Mosque in Anatolia. It has rich interior wall paintings. The minaret (50 m high) offers a view of the city and harbour.
Constanța railway station
Constanţa railway station is the largest station in Constanţa and on the Romanian Black Sea coast. This station is situated on the main Căile Ferate Române Line 800. Constanţa railway station is served by about 50 passenger trains. During summer, the number of trains and passengers greatly expands. The station is served by several bus and minibuses lines.
Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Constanța
The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Constanţa (Romanian: Catedrala Sfinţii Apostoli Petru şi Pavel din Constanţa), located at 25 Arhiepiscopiei Street, Constanţa, Romania, is the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Archbishop of Tomis, as well as a monastery. Situated between Ovid Square and the Black Sea in front of the Archbishop's Palace, it was built on the city's peninsular zone in 1883-85 following plans by architect Ion Mincu.
Petromidia Refinery
Petromidia Refinery is the largest Romanian oil refinery and one of the largest in Eastern Europe, located in Năvodari, Constanţa County, and has an annual processing capacity of 4.8 million tonnes/year or 100,000 bbl/d . The refinery is supplied with oil thru an oil terminal located in the Port of Midia that can accommodate ships up to 24,000 DWT or by a pipeline of 40 kilometres which has a terminus in the Port of Constanţa.
