Mamaia
Mamaia is a resort on the Romanian Black Sea shore, considered to be Romania's most popular resort. It is situated immediately north-east of Constanţa. Mamaia has almost no full-time residents, being populated mostly during the summer. Mamaia lies on a strip of land 8 km in length and only 300 m (328 yards) in width, between the Black Sea and Lake Siutghiol.

German submarine U-24 was a Type IIB U-boat that was in service during World War II. She was laid down on 21 April 1936 at the F. Krupp Germaniawerft in Kiel with yardnumber 554, launched on 24 September and commissioned into the Kriegsmarine on 10 October. Oberleutnant Heinz Bucholz took command on 3 July 1937.

German submarine U-18 was a Type IIB U-boat of the Nazi German Kriegsmarine during World War II. It was laid down 10 July 1935 and commissioned on 4 January 1936. It served in many U-boat flotillas during its service.

German submarine U-9 (1935)
The German submarine U-9 was a Type IIB U-boat of the Nazi German Kriegsmarine. Her keel was laid down on 8 February 1935, by Germaniawerft in Kiel as 'werk' 543. She was launched on 30 July 1935 and commissioned on 21 August, with Korvettenkapitän Hans-Günther Looff in command. U-9 conducted 19 patrols under a series of commanders, including U-boat ace Wolfgang Lüth, sinking eight ships totalling 17,221 tons and damaging another displacing 412 tons.

Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Constanța
The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, Constanţa (Romanian: Catedrala Sfinţii Apostoli Petru şi Pavel din Constanţa), located at 25 Arhiepiscopiei Street, Constanţa, Romania, is the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Archbishop of Tomis, as well as a monastery. Situated between Ovid Square and the Black Sea in front of the Archbishop's Palace, it was built on the city's peninsular zone in 1883-85 following plans by architect Ion Mincu.
Petromidia Refinery
Petromidia Refinery is the largest Romanian oil refinery and one of the largest in Eastern Europe, located in Năvodari, Constanţa County, and has an annual processing capacity of 4.8 million tonnes/year or 100,000 bbl/d . The refinery is supplied with oil thru an oil terminal located in the Port of Midia that can accommodate ships up to 24,000 DWT or by a pipeline of 40 kilometres which has a terminus in the Port of Constanţa.
