The University of Tartu is a classical university in the city of Tartu, Estonia. University of Tartu is the national university of Estonia; it is the biggest and highest-ranked university in Estonia. Raudsild
Raudsild (Iron Bridge) was a footbridge across Emajõgi in Tartu, Estonia, which was opened on 3 June 1993, and dismantled again in 2007. The pedestrian bridge had a minor design flaw, which made it gyrate noticeably at even minor impacts, like a normal sized person jumping or running across it. The bridge was taken apart in 2007 to be replaced by Vabaduse Bridge, a 3-lane traffic bridge opened in the summer of 2009.
Gunpowder Cellar of Tartu
The Gunpowder Cellar is a historic building in Tartu, Estonia which now functions as a beer restaurant. The name is derived from the restaurant's location: it is situated in an 18th century gunpowder cellar constructed in 1768–1778 by order of Catherine II of Russia on the site of an earlier fort, making use of the natural valley and pre-existing very thick brick walls for added safety. The building served as a gunpowder cellar until 1809 when it was converted to a beer storage room.
Hugo Treffner Gymnasium
Hugo Treffner Gymnasium (Estonian: Hugo Treffneri Gümnaasium; abbreviated as HTG) is a secondary school in Tartu, Estonia with special emphasis on science education. Founded by Hugo Treffner, it was the only large secondary school in 19th century Estonia with dominantly Estonian students and no age restrictions. During the Estonian national awakening, the school greatly contributed to the numbers of Estonian intellectuals.

Estonian Students' Society is the largest and oldest all-male academical student society in Estonia, which is similar to Baltic German student corporations (should not be confused with American college fraternities). Tartu Cathedral
Tartu Cathedral, earlier also known as Dorpat Cathedral is one of the landmarks of the Estonian city of Tartu (Dorpat). The building is now an imposing ruin overlooking the lower town. Korp! Ugala (Fraternity Ugala) is a fraternal organization of Estonian higher education students. It was established at the University of Tartu on 10 November 1913 (28 November 1913 Julian calendar). Ugala flag colors are: black, blue, white (Fatherland, friendship, honesty) The Ugala corporation house was planned by member Arnold Matteus who was also a Tartu architect. It was completed in 1939 During the Soviet annexation of Estonia, Ugala was banned for nearly 50 years.

Originally, it was located at Vanemuise street near what is now the Vanemuine Small Theatre House. In 1806, the garden was relocated to a more suitable site, on a former bastion at Lai street on the northern side of the old town.

Supilinn has a population of 1,790 (as of 31 December 2011). With an area of 0.48 km it's the smallest neighbourhood of Tartu. Supilinn is especially famous for being a former slum, mostly consisting of 1–2 floored wooden apartment buildings.

Tartu Toy Museum
Tartu Toy Museum (Tartu Mänguasjamuuseum) is the biggest toy museum in the Baltic States, located in Tartu, Estonia. It displays over 5000 toys from its vast collection and has several interactive toys for the visitors to try out, as well as a playroom for children. In 2005 the film puppets exhibition was opened in the courtyard house, exhibiting film puppets made in Estonia over the last 50 years, props and sketches of animated movies.
