Fanø
Fanø is a Danish island in the North Sea off the coast of southwestern Denmark, and is the very northernmost of the Danish Wadden Sea Islands. Fanø municipality is the municipality that covers the island and its seat is the town of Nordby.
Varde Municipality
Varde Municipality is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. Its mayor is Gylling Håhr, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and site of its municipal council is the town of Varde. Its area is 1255.79 km². It has a population of 50,125 (2008).
Blue Water Arena
Blue Water Arena (former Esbjerg Idrætspark and Esbjerg Stadion) is a football stadium located in Idrætsparken Gl. Vardevej, Esbjerg, Denmark and is the home ground of Esbjerg fB. It has a capacity of 18,000 of which 11,451 is seated. It is currently the second biggest stadium in Jutland, and the fourth biggest in Denmark. In 1999, the stadium was venue of the football tournament at the European Youth Olympic Festival.
Esbjerg Airport
Esbjerg Airport is a small airport located 5 nautical miles (9.2 km) northeast of Esbjerg, Denmark. The airport was opened on April 4, 1971. The Airport formerly had connecting flights to Stansted Airport with the low cost carrier Ryanair, but these routes have been transferred to Billund Airport. The primary use of Esbjerg Airport is as a heliport for flying offshore out to the North Sea oil and gas platforms.
Langli
Langli is a small marsh island in the Ho Bugt near Esbjerg on the Danish North Sea Coast. It is 0.8 km long and is accessible from Ho over a 3 km long causeway at low tide. Langli (original “Langeleje” = long camp) was up to the flood of 1634 part of a peninsula. Afterwards sea-laterally a second peninsula began to develop itself, which from now on protected Langli.

Varde is a Danish town in Region of Southern Denmark. It is the main town in Varde Municipality, Denmark with a population of 13,416 (1 January 2012).
Men at Sea
The Men at Sea is a 9 metre (30 feet) tall white monument of four seated males, located west of Esbjerg next to Sædding Beach on the southwest coast of Denmark. It is located opposite the Fisheries and Maritime Museum, is one of the area's major tourist attractions, and is a famous landmark of Esbjerg. The sculpture was designed by Svend Wiig Hansen and installed on 28th October 1995.
West Jutland University College
West Jutland University College (Danish: Professionshøjskolen University College Vest) was one of eight new regional organizations of different study sites in Denmark offering bachelor courses of all kinds in the western part of Jutland. Profession School University College West was established 1. January 2008 in Esbjerg. Formerly known institution CVU Vest. Western University College has 3,000 students and employs 350 staff.
Academy of Music and Music Communication (Esbjerg)
The Academy of Music and Music Communication is located in Esbjerg, Denmark. It was founded in 1946 as a local private initiative as Vestjysk Musikkonservatorium and was in 1972 taken over by the Danish State. From 1998 it has been located in the refurbished and modernized premises of a former power plant. As per Jan 1, 2010, it will merge with some of Denmark's other Academies of Music.
Sønderho
Sønderho is a small village, with a population of 277 (1 January 2011), at the southern tip of the island Fanø, in southwestern Denmark. The village dates back to the 16th century and has about 300 well-preserved buildings that stem mainly from the 19th century when Sønderho was the leading navigation area on the Jutlandic west coast. Almost all the cottages, stand with their petite thatched house ends to the east and west surrounded by small gardens.
2011 Capital One World Women's Curling Championship
The 2011 Capital One World Women's Curling Championship was held in Esbjerg, Denmark at the Granly Hockey Arena from March 19–27, 2011. The Swedish rink skipped by Anette Norberg won the final game over Canada's Amber Holland after a steal of two points in the tenth end.
