Renshou County
Renshou County is a county in Meishan City, Sichuan Province of China. It's located in Middle-West of Sichuan Basin. It has an area of 2600 square kilometers, and population 1,500,000. It's the most populous county in Sichuan, a typical area with high population density in Sichuan Basin. From mid-May to June 1993, Renshou County was the site of mass anti-tax riots, where up to 10,000 peasants protested tax measures by the local government.
