Hisarya is a small resort town in Bulgaria, in Plovdiv Province. Osam

The Osam is a river in northern Bulgaria. Its drainage basin is in between that of the river Vit to the west and the Yantra system to the east. The river has two main tributaries in its upper course: the Black Osam takes its source from the foot of Levski Peak in the Balkan Mountains, at an altitude of 1,821 m, while the White Osam has its source on the northern slopes of the Kozya Stena peak. In Troyan, the black and white Osam join.

Karlovo

Karlovo is a picturesque and a historically important town in central Bulgaria located in a fertile valley along the river Stryama at the southern foot of the Balkan Mountains. Banya Palace

Banya Palace (Bulgarian: дворец в Баня, dvorets v Banya) is a royal summer villa or small palace on the northern outskirts of the town of Banya in Karlovo municipality, Plovdiv Province, southern Bulgaria. It was commissioned to University of Karlsruhe-educated architect Ivan Vasilyov after Tsar Boris III of Bulgaria visited the town in 1925 and liked the climatic conditions and the curative mineral springs in the area, and finished in 1929.

Starosel

Starosel is a village in central Bulgaria, part of Hisarya municipality, Plovdiv Province. It lies at the foot of the Sredna Gora mountain range and the Pyasachnik River crosses it. Starosel is mainly known for its abundance of ancient Neolithic and Thracian sites, with finds dating as far back as the 5th-6th millennium BC. Beklemeto Pass, also known as Troyan Pass, is a mountain pass in the Balkan Mountains (Stara Planina) in Bulgaria. It connects Troyan and Karnare on the Karlovo Plain. Levski Peak (Bulgaria)

Levski Peak is a peak in the central Balkan Mountains, in Lovech Province, Bulgaria. It is named after the famous Bulgarian revolutionary Vasil Levski. The peak is 2,166 metres high and is situated on the main ridge of the mountain range to the west of Golyam Kupen Peak. The peak is more famous with its old name, Ambaritsa. According to the local legends Krali Marko's granaries were located in the area. The Ambaritsa Refuge is situated on its northern slopes, at 2 hours of the peak.

Anevo Fortress

The Anevo Fortress (Bulgarian: Аневско кале, Anevsko kale) or Kopsis (Копсис) is a medieval castle in central Bulgaria, the ruins of which are located some 3 kilometres from the village of Anevo in Sopot Municipality, Plovdiv Province. Constructed in the first half of the 12th century, it lies on a steep hilltop at the southern foot of the Balkan Mountains, not far from the Stryama river.
