Kruckeberg Botanic Garden
The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden (1.6 ha / 4 acres) is a botanical garden located at 20312 Fifteenth Avenue NW, Shoreline, Washington. It is currently a private residence, open to the public at designated hours which alternate seasonally. It is also open for tours, by appointment, and for horticultural workshops. The garden was first begun in 1958 by Prof. Arthur Rice Kruckeberg, University of Washington, and his wife Mareen Schultz Kruckeberg.
Edmonds (Amtrak station)
The Edmonds Station is a passenger train station in Edmonds, Washington. It is a station stop for Amtrak's Empire Builder and Cascades trains, as well as for Sound Transit's Sounder Commuter Rail on the north line. The station is adjacent to the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry docks. The station, platform, and parking are owned by BNSF Railway. Currently, there are four southbound Sounder departures during morning rush hour, with four return trips in the afternoon.
Scriber Lake High School
Scriber Lake High School (SLHS), located in the city of Edmonds, Washington, is one of five high schools within the Edmonds School District. It is the only alternative high school within the district. Currently the school serves more than 270 students in grades 9-12. Students at SLHS will learn and experience relationships, attitudes, and values that are required to be successful in school.
Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center
Edmonds Heights K-12 (formerly known as the Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center) is an alternative school which offers many classes and workshops as curriculum supplements to home-schoolers. It is located in a large section of the former Woodway High School campus. The school operates under the WAC 392-121-182 Alternative Learning Experience Requirements. Students and parents are required to submit a written student learning plan (WSLP) monthly.
King's High School
King's High School is a private, non-denominational Christian school, located in Shoreline, Washington, just north of Seattle. It enrolls approximately 470 students in 9th through 12th grade. King's High School also has elementary and middle schools on the same campus.
Edmonds Historical Museum
The Edmonds Historical Museum is a free museum in Edmonds, Washington, which tells the story of Edmonds' history through various temporary and permanent exhibits and which houses a small collection of artifacts pertaining to its local history. It was established in 1973 by the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society. It is located in downtown Edmonds at 118 5th Ave. North. The museum building has two floors.
