South Hill, Washington

South Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pierce County, Washington, south of the city of Puyallup. The population was 52,431 at the 2010 census. The name began as an informal description of the area's proximity to the Puyallup River valley. This also contrasts with the Edgewood and Milton areas, which are known informally to locals as "North Hill. " The area is primarily retail shopping centers, residential neighborhoods, and apartment/condo complexes.

Puyallup, Washington is a city in Pierce County, Washington about five miles (8 km) east of Tacoma. The population was 37,022 at the 2010 Census and the Washington State Office of Financial Management estimated the 2012 population at 37,620. Named after the Puyallup Tribe of Native Americans, Puyallup means "the generous people".

Governor John R. Rogers High School

Commonly referred to as "Rogers" or "RHS", the high school is named after former Washington State governor John Rankin Rogers. It was first opened in 1968. Puyallup Fair

The Puyallup Fair is the largest single attraction held annually in the state of Washington. The fair continually ranks in the top ten largest fairs in the United States. The Daffodil Festival

The Daffodil Festival is a regional festival and royalty leadership program. The Grand Floral Parade is held in Pierce County, Washington every April. It consists of a flower parade and a year-long royalty program to select a festival queen from one of the 24 area high schools. Each year, the Royal Court spend thousands of hours promoting education, community pride and volunteerism in the county.
